The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.

14ਅਤੇ ਯੱਤਿਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ਤਮੋਆ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ।Jattir, Eshtemoa,

19ਸੋ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਸਨ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੇਰਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ।In all, thirteen cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the priests, the descendants of Aaron.

24ਅੱਯਾਲੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਗਥ-ਰਿੰਮੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।Aijalon, and Gath-rimmon—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

25ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤਾਨਾਕ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਾਲਤ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਗਥ-ਰਿੰਮੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਦੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।And from the half-tribe of Manasseh they were given Taanach and Gath-rimmon—two cities, together with their pasturelands.

30ਅਤੇ ਆਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ, ਅਬਦੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ,From the tribe of Asher they were given Mishal, Abdon,

31ਹਲਕਾਥ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਥ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਹੋਬ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।Helkath, and Rehob—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

32ਅਤੇ ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਦਸ਼ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖ਼ੂਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪਨਾਹ ਨਗਰ ਸੀ ਗਲੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਮੋਥ ਦੋਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਤਾਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਾਲਤ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਤਿੰਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।And from the tribe of Naphtali they were given Kedesh in Galilee (a city of refuge for the manslayer), Hammoth-dor, and Kartan—three cities, together with their pasturelands.

41ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਲਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਅਠੱਤਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ।For the Levites, then, there were forty-eight cities in all, together with their pasturelands, within the territory of the Israelites.

42ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ ਇਉਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਸੀ।Each of these cities had its own surrounding pasturelands; this was true for all the cities.

43ਸੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਦੇਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ।Thus the LORD gave Israel all the land He had sworn to give their fathers, and they took possession of it and settled in it.

44ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਨਾ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।And the LORD gave them rest on every side, just as He had sworn to their fathers. None of their enemies could stand against them, for the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.

45ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਚੰਗਿਆਂ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਚਨ ਵੀ ਰਹਿ ਨਾ ਗਿਆ, ਸਾਰੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਏ।Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to the house of Israel had failed; everything was fulfilled.
