1 ULB ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਧਨਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੰਦੇ ਦਾਨ ਪਾਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ। BSB BSB: Then Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury,
2 ULB ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਦੋ ਦਮੜੀਆਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ। BSB BSB: and He saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins.
3 ULB ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: “Truly I tell you,” He said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others.
4 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁੱਝ ਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਥੁੜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। BSB BSB: For they all contributed out of their surplus, but she out of her poverty has put in all she had to live on.”
5 ULB ਜਦ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋਕ ਹੈਕਲ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਸੁਆਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ। BSB BSB: As some of the disciples were remarking how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and consecrated gifts, Jesus said,
7 ULB ਅੱਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਫਿਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ, ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੋਣ ਲੱਗਣਗੀਆਂ? BSB BSB: “Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”
8 ULB ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਚੌਕਸ ਰਹੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਭੁਲੇਖੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਪਓ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਥੇਰੇ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਜੋ 'ਮੈਂ ਉਹੋ ਹਾਂ' ਅਤੇ 'ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ'। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਨਾ ਲੱਗਣਾ। BSB BSB: Jesus answered, “See to it that you are not deceived. For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them.
9 ULB ਪਰ ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਲੇ ਗੁੱਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਸੁਣੋ ਤਾਂ ਘਬਰਾ ਨਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੋਣੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਅੰਤ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਨਹੀਂ। BSB BSB: When you hear of wars and rebellions, do not be alarmed. These things must happen first, but the end is not imminent.”
10 ULB ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਕੌਮ-ਕੌਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰੇਗੀ। BSB BSB: Then He told them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 ULB ਅਤੇ ਥਾਂ-ਥਾਂ ਕਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੈਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀਆਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ੋਂ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। BSB BSB: There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences in various places, along with fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
12 ULB ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਤਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਦਖ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੜਵਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਗੇ। BSB BSB: But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. On account of My name they will deliver you to the synagogues and prisons, and they will bring you before kings and governors.
13 ULB ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: This will be your opportunity to serve as witnesses.
14 ULB ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਾਣ ਲਵੋ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। BSB BSB: So make up your mind not to worry beforehand how to defend yourselves.
15 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਬੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਧ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਜਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਣਗੇ। BSB BSB: For I will give you speech and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
16 ULB ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮਾਂ ਪਿਉ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਫੜਵਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿੰਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ। BSB BSB: You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you will be put to death.
17 ULB ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ। BSB BSB: And you will be hated by everyone because of My name.
18 ULB ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਿਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਵਾਲ਼ ਵਿੰਗਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ BSB BSB: Yet not even a hair of your head will perish.
19 ULB ਆਪਣੇ ਧੀਰਜ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਓਗੇ। BSB BSB: By your patient endurance you will gain your souls.
21 ULB ਤਦ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੂਦਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਸੋ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਾ ਵੜਨ। BSB BSB: Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country stay out of the city.
22 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ। BSB BSB: For these are the days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written.
23 ULB ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰਭਵਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਚੁੰਘਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਪਰਜਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing mothers! For there will be great distress upon the land and wrath against this people.
25 ULB ਸੂਰਜ, ਚੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਰਜਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਅਤੇ ਘਬਰਾਹਟ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। BSB BSB: There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among the nations, bewildered by the roaring of the sea and the surging of the waves.
26 ULB ਅਤੇ ਡਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਡੋਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਹਿਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। BSB BSB: Men will faint from fear and anxiety over what is coming upon the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 ULB ਤਦ ਲੋਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ। BSB BSB: At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 ULB ਜਦ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ ਲੱਗਣ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਉੱਠਾਓ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
29 ULB ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਹੰਜ਼ੀਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੋ। BSB BSB: Then Jesus told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees.
30 ULB ਜਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਤੇ ਨਿੱਕਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਹੁਣ ਗਰਮੀ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.
31 ULB ਇਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖੋ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜਾਣੋ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: So also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 ULB ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਇਸ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.
33 ULB ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਟਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਕਦੀ ਨਾ ਟਲਣਗੇ। BSB BSB: Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
34 ULB ਖ਼ਬਰਦਾਰ ਰਹੋ ਜੋ ਹੱਦ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਤਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮਨ ਕਿਤੇ ਸੁਸਤ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਫੰਦੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਆ ਪਵੇ! BSB BSB: But watch yourselves, or your hearts will be weighed down by dissipation, drunkenness, and the worries of life—and that day will spring upon you suddenly like a snare.
35 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of all the earth.
36 ULB ਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਜਾਗਦੇ ਰਹੋ, ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਬਚ ਸਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਸਕੋ। BSB BSB: So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen and to stand before the Son of Man.”
37 ULB ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਟਿਕਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। BSB BSB: Every day Jesus taught at the temple, but every evening He went out to spend the night on the Mount of Olives.
38 ULB ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣਨ ਲਈ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੜਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। BSB BSB: And early in the morning all the people would come to hear Him at the temple.
