7 ULB ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ, ਵਾਰਸ ਇਹੋ ਹੈ। ਆਓ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਸਾਡੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। BSB BSB: But the tenants said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’
8 ULB ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਗੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। BSB BSB: So they seized the son, killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard.

14 ULB ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਣ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਸੱਚਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੱਖਪਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈਂ! ਕੈਸਰ ਨੂੰ “ਕਰ” ਦੇਣਾ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ? ਅਸੀਂ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਨਾ ਦੇਈਏ? BSB BSB: “Teacher,” they said, “we know that You are honest and seek favor from no one. Indeed, You are impartial and teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not? Should we pay them or not?”
15 ULB ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਪਟ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਪਰਤਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ? ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਕਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਓ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖਾਂ। BSB BSB: But Jesus saw through their hypocrisy and said, “Why are you testing Me? Bring Me a denarius to inspect.”
16 ULB ਸੋ ਓਹ ਲਿਆਏ। ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਇਹ ਮੂਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਿਖਤ ਕਿਸ ਦੀ ਹੈ? ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕੈਸਰ ਦੀ। BSB BSB: So they brought it, and He asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?” “Caesar’s,” they answered.
17 ULB ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਕੈਸਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਸੋ ਕੈਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਓ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ। BSB BSB: Then Jesus told them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” And they marveled at Him.
18 ULB ਫੇਰ ਸਦੂਕੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ l ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ BSB BSB: Then the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus and questioned Him:
19 ULB ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ, ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਉਲਾਦ ਨਾ ਛੱਡ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਲਈ ਵੰਸ਼ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰੇ। BSB BSB: “Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man is to marry his brother’s widow and raise up offspring for him.
20 ULB ਸੱਤ ਭਰਾ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਨੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੇ-ਔਲਾਦ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ। BSB BSB: Now there were seven brothers. The first one married and died, leaving no children.
21 ULB ਤਦ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਬੇ-ਔਲਾਦ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੀਜੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤੇ ਬੇ-ਔਲਾਦ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਗਏ। BSB BSB: Then the second one married the widow, but he also died and left no children. And the third did likewise.
22 ULB ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਵੀ ਮਰ ਗਈ। BSB BSB: In this way, none of the seven left any children. And last of all, the woman died.
23 ULB ਸੋ ਹੁਣ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਓਹ ਹੁਣ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ? BSB BSB: In the resurrection, then, whose wife will she be? For all seven were married to her.”
24 ULB ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਭੁੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਏ ਹੋ, ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ? BSB BSB: Jesus said to them, “Aren’t you mistaken, because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
25 ULB ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਦ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਵਿਆਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। BSB BSB: When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven.

30 ULB ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਬੁੱਧ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰ। BSB BSB: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
31 ULB ਦੂਜਾ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”

This is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

36 ULB ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੈਠ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂ l BSB BSB: Speaking by the Holy Spirit, David himself declared: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet.”’
37 ULB ਦਾਊਦ ਤਾਂ ਆਪੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੋਇਆ? ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸੁਣਦੀ ਸੀ। BSB BSB: David himself calls Him ‘Lord.’ So how can He be David’s son?” And the large crowd listened to Him with delight.
