17 ULB ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ, ਝੂਠੀ ਜੀਭ, ਅਤੇ ਬੇਦੋਸ਼ੇ ਦਾ ਖ਼ੂਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੱਥ, BSB BSB: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
18 ULB ਉਹ ਮਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖੋਟੀਆਂ ਜੁਗਤਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪੈਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਫੁਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਭੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ, BSB BSB: a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that run swiftly to evil,
19 ULB ਝੂਠਾ ਗਵਾਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਝੂਠ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਝਗੜਾ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ। BSB BSB: a false witness who gives false testimony, and one who stirs up discord among brothers.
20 ULB ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਮੰਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਛੱਡ। BSB BSB: My son, keep your father’s commandment, and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.

23 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੀਵਾ, ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਜੋਤ, ਅਤੇ ਸਿਖਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਤਾੜ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: For this commandment is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way to life,

26 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਦਮੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਕੜੇ ਤੱਕ ਮੋਹਤਾਜ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਾਈ ਔਰਤ ਅਣਮੋਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: For the levy of the prostitute is poverty, and the adulteress preys upon your very life.
27 ULB ਭਲਾ, ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੀ ਬੁੱਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਲੈ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਨਾ ਸੜਨ? BSB BSB: Can a man embrace fire and his clothes not be burned?

30 ULB ਚੋਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਭੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਢਿੱਡ ਭਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ, BSB BSB: Men do not despise the thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger.
31 ULB ਪਰ ਜੇ ਫੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਤ ਗੁਣਾ ਭਰਨਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਮਾਲ ਦੇਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: Yet if caught, he must pay sevenfold; he must give up all the wealth of his house.
32 ULB ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਭੋਗ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਨਿਰਬੁੱਧ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: He who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself.
33 ULB ਉਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਖਮ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਬਦਨਾਮੀ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਮਿਟੇਗੀ। BSB BSB: Wounds and dishonor will befall him, and his reproach will never be wiped away.
