3 ULB ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਤਾਂ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਬਾਲਣ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: For my days vanish like smoke, and my bones burn like glowing embers.
4 ULB ਘਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਆਈਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਿਆ। BSB BSB: My heart is afflicted, and withered like grass; I even forget to eat my bread.
5 ULB ਮੇਰੇ ਕਰਾਹਣੇ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: Through my loud groaning my skin hangs on my bones.
6 ULB ਮੈਂ ਉਜਾੜ ਦੇ ਲੰਮਢੀਂਗ ਦੇ ਤੁੱਲ ਹੋਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰਾਨੇ ਦਾ ਉੱਲੂ ਬਣਿਆ! BSB BSB: I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins.

11 ULB ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਢਲਦੇ ਸਾਯੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਨ, ਮੈਂ ਘਾਹ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। BSB BSB: My days are like lengthening shadows, and I wither away like grass.
12 ULB ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਬਿਰਾਜਮਾਨ ਰਹੇਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਤੱਕ! BSB BSB: But You, O LORD, sit enthroned forever; Your renown endures to all generations.
13 ULB ਤੂੰ ਉੱਠੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਮ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤਰਸ ਖਾਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਥਾਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੇਲਾ ਆ ਪੁੱਜਿਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: You will rise up and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show her favor—the appointed time has come.
14 ULB ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥੇਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: For Your servants delight in her stones and take pity on her dust.

19 ULB ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਉਚਿਆਈ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਡਿੱਠਾ ਹੈ, BSB BSB: For He looked down from the heights of His sanctuary; the LORD gazed out from heaven to earth
20 ULB ਕਿ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਦਾ ਹਾਹੁਕਾ ਸੁਣੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਵੇ, BSB BSB: to hear a prisoner’s groaning, to release those condemned to death,
21 ULB ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ, BSB BSB: that they may proclaim the name of the LORD in Zion and praise Him in Jerusalem,
22 ULB ਜਦ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਰਜਵਾੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਣ। BSB BSB: when peoples and kingdoms assemble to serve the LORD.
23 ULB ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਯੂ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਇਆ। BSB BSB: He has broken my strength on the way; He has cut short my days.
24 ULB ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੀ ਅੱਧੀ ਆਯੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਠਾ ਨਾ ਲੈ, ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਹਨ! BSB BSB: I say: “O my God, do not take me in the midst of my days! Your years go on through all generations.
26 ULB ਓਹ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਹੇਂਗਾ, ਓਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਬਾਸ ਦੀ ਨਿਆਈਂ ਬਦਲ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ, ਸੋ ਓਹ ਬਦਲ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਗੇ! BSB BSB: They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing You will change them, and they will be passed on.
27 ULB ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਓਹੀ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਮੁਕਣਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ। BSB BSB: But You remain the same, and Your years will never end.
28 ULB ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਵੱਸੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਸਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇਗੀ। BSB BSB: The children of Your servants will dwell securely, and their descendants will be established before You.”
