1 ULB ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਾਂ? ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਜੀਉਣ ਦਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸ ਦਾ ਭੈ ਖਾਵਾਂ? BSB BSB: Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—whom shall I dread?
2 ULB ਜਦ ਬੁਰਿਆਰ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਏ, ਤਾਂ ਓਹ ਠੇਡਾ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ। BSB BSB: When the wicked came upon me to devour my flesh, my enemies and foes stumbled and fell.

4 ULB ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਮੰਗੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹੀ ਭਾਲਾਗਾਂ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਜੀਉਣ ਭਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵੱਸਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਮਨੋਹਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਤੱਕਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰਾਂ। BSB BSB: One thing I have asked of the LORD; this is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and seek Him in His temple.

At His tabernacle I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.
7 ULB ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ, ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ। BSB BSB: Hear, O LORD, my voice when I call; be merciful and answer me.
8 ULB "ਮੇਰੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਕਰੋ," ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਨੇ ਤੈਂਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। BSB BSB: My heart said, “Seek His face.” Your face, O LORD, I will seek.
9 ULB ਆਪਣਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਲੁਕਾ, ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਦੂਰ ਨਾ ਕਰ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ, ਨਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ, ਨਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ! BSB BSB: Hide not Your face from me, nor turn away Your servant in anger. You have been my helper; do not leave me or forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 ULB ਜਦ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਦੇਣ, ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.
11 ULB ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਾਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਰਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰ। BSB BSB: Teach me Your way, O LORD, and lead me on a level path, because of my oppressors.
12 ULB ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਕਰ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਝੂਠੇ ਗਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉੱਠੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੂਕਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: Do not hand me over to the will of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, breathing out violence.

14 ULB ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕ, ਤਕੜਾ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਦਲੇਰ ਹੋਵੇ, ਹਾਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਉਡੀਕ! BSB BSB: Wait patiently for the LORD; be strong and courageous. Wait patiently for the LORD!
