2 ULB ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੋਲਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਪੁਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੁਝਾਰਤਾਂ ਉਚਾਰਾਂਗਾ, BSB BSB: I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the beginning,
3 ULB ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੁਣੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਜਾਤੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ। BSB BSB: that we have heard and known and our fathers have relayed to us.

10 ULB ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਂਹ ਕੀਤੀ। BSB BSB: They failed to keep God’s covenant and refused to live by His law.

19 ULB ਓਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬੋਲੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਲੰਗਰ ਦਾ ਅਡੰਬਰ ਰਚ ਸਕੇਗਾ? BSB BSB: They spoke against God, saying, “Can God really prepare a table in the wilderness?
20 ULB ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ, ਪਾਣੀ ਫੁੱਟ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਾਂ ਵਗ ਪਈਆਂ,— ਕੀ ਉਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਵੀ ਦੇ ਸਕੇਗਾ? ਨਾਲੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਂ ਪਰਸ਼ਾਦ ਵੀ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਵੇਗਾ? BSB BSB: When He struck the rock, water gushed out and torrents raged. But can He also give bread or supply His people with meat?”

35 ULB ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡਾ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: And they remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer.
