1 ULB ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸ਼ਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਯੇ ਹੇਠ ਟਿਕੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 ULB ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। BSB BSB: I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
3 ULB ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਫਾਂਧੀ ਦੀ ਫਾਹੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਘਾਤਕ ਮਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: Surely He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly plague.
4 ULB ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਲਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਤੂੰ ਪਨਾਹ ਲਵੇਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਇੱਕ ਢਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਫਰੀ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: He will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and rampart.

6 ULB ਨਾ ਉਸ ਮਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਦੀ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਉਸ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾੜ ਦੀ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the calamity that destroys at noon.
7 ULB ਤੇਰੇ ਮੁੱਢ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਡਿੱਗਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਾ ਆਵੇਗੀ। BSB BSB: Though a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, no harm will come near you.
8 ULB ਕੇਵਲ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਵੇਖੇਂਗਾ। BSB BSB: You will only see it with your eyes and witness the punishment of the wicked.
9 ULB ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਨਾਹਗਾਰ ਹੈਂ,— ਤੂੰ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੱਸੋਂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Because you have made the LORD your dwelling—my refuge, the Most High—
10 ULB ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਵੇਗੀ, ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਬਵਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚੇਗੀ। BSB BSB: no evil will befall you, no plague will approach your tent.
11 ULB ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿ ਤੇਰਿਆਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ। BSB BSB: For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
12 ULB ਓਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੁੱਕ ਲੈਣਗੇ, ਮਤੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਨਾ ਲੱਗੇ। BSB BSB: They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 ULB ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ੀਂਹ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਧੇਂਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਜੁਆਨ ਸ਼ੀਂਹ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਲਤਾੜੇਂਗਾ। BSB BSB: You will tread on the lion and cobra; you will trample the young lion and serpent.
14 ULB ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਲਾਈ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਜੋ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: “Because he loves Me, I will deliver him; because he knows My name, I will protect him.
15 ULB ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਦੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਦਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, BSB BSB: When he calls out to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him.
16 ULB ਆਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਵਿਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ। BSB BSB: With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”
