Hosea 12 (OPV) · Opened

1افرایم باد را میخورد و باد شرقی راتعاقب میکند. تمامی روز دروغ وخرابی را میافزاید و ایشان با آشور عهد میبندندو روغن (به جهت هدیه ) به مصر برده میشود.Ephraim feeds on the wind and pursues the east wind all day long; he multiplies lies and violence; he makes a covenant with Assyria and sends olive oil to Egypt.

2خداوند را با یهودا مخاصمهای است و یعقوب را برحسب راههایش عقوبت رسانیده، بر وفق اعمالش او را جزا خواهد داد.The LORD has a charge to bring against Judah. He will punish Jacob according to his ways and repay him according to his deeds.

3او پاشنه برادرخود را در رحم گرفت و در حین قوتش با خدامجاهده نمود.In the womb he grasped his brother’s heel, and in his vigor he wrestled with God.

4با فرشته مجاهده نموده، غالب آمد. گریان شده، نزد وی تضرع نمود. دربیت ئیل او را یافت و در آنجا با ما تکلم نمود.Yes, he struggled with the angel and prevailed; he wept and sought His favor; he found Him at Bethel and spoke with Him there—

5اما خداوند، خدای لشکرهاست و یادگاری او یهوه است.the LORD God of Hosts, the LORD is His name of renown.

6اما تو بسوی خدای خودبازگشت نما و رحمت و راستی را نگاه داشته، دائم منتظر خدای خود باش.But you must return to your God; maintain love and justice, and always wait on your God.

7او سوداگری است که میزان فریب در دست او میباشد وظلم را دوست میدارد.A merchant loves to defraud with dishonest scales in his hands.

8و افرایم میگوید: «به درستی که دولتمند شدهام و توانگری رابرای خود تحصیل نمودهام و در تمامی کسب من بیانصافیای که گناه باشد، در من نخواهند یافت.»And Ephraim boasts: “How rich I have become! I have found wealth for myself. In all my labors, they can find in me no iniquity that is sinful.”

9اما من از زمین مصر (تا حال )یهوه خدای تو هستم و تو را بار دیگر مثل ایام مواسم در خیمهها ساکن خواهم گردانید.But I am the LORD your God ever since the land of Egypt. I will again make you dwell in tents, as in the days of the appointed feast.

10به انبیا نیز تکلم نمودم و رویاها افزودم وبواسطه انبیا مثلها زدم.I spoke through the prophets and multiplied their visions; I gave parables through the prophets.

11به درستی که ایشان در جلعاد محض گناه و بطالت گردیدند و درجلجال گاوها قربانی کردند. و مذبح های ایشان نیز مثل توده های سنگ در شیارهای زمین میباشد.Is there iniquity in Gilead? They will surely come to nothing. Do they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal? Indeed, their altars will be heaps of stones in the furrows of the field.

12و یعقوب به زمین ارام فرار کرد و اسرائیل به جهت زن خدمت نمود و برای زن شبانی کرد.Jacob fled to the land of Aram and Israel worked for a wife—for a wife he tended sheep.

13و خداوند اسرائیل را بواسطه نبی از مصربرآورد و او بهدست نبی محفوظ گردید.But by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved.

14افرایم خشم بسیار تلخی به هیجان آورد، پس خداوندش خون او را بر سرش واگذاشت و عار اورا بر وی رد نمود.Ephraim has provoked bitter anger, so his Lord will leave his bloodguilt upon him and repay him for his contempt.
