1. 1OPVای کاهنان این را بشنوید وای خاندان اسرائیل اصغا نمایید وای خاندان پادشاهان گوش گیرید، زیرا که این فتوی برای شماست چونکه شما در مصفه دام شدید و توری گسترده شده، بر تابور.BSBBSB: “Hear this, O priests! Take heed, O house of Israel! Give ear, O royal house! For this judgment is against you because you have been a snare at Mizpah, a net spread out on Tabor.
2. 2OPVعاصیان در کشتار مبالغه نمودهاند؛ پس من همگی ایشان را تادیب خواهم نمود.BSBBSB: The rebels are deep in slaughter; but I will chastise them all.
3. 3OPVمن افرایم را میشناسم و اسرائیل از من مخفی نیست زیرا که حال، توای افرایم مرتکب زنا شدهای و اسرائیل خویشتن را نجس ساخته است.BSBBSB: I know all about Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me. For now, O Ephraim, you have turned to prostitution; Israel is defiled.
4. 4OPVکارهای ایشان مانع میشود که بسوی خدا بازگشت نمایند چونکه روح زناکاری درقلب ایشان است و خداوند را نمی شناسند.BSBBSB: Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God, for a spirit of prostitution is within them, and they do not know the LORD.
5. 5OPVوفخر اسرائیل پیش روی ایشان شهادت میدهد. اسرائیل و افرایم در گناه خود میلغزند و یهودانیز همراه ایشان خواهد لغزید.BSBBSB: Israel’s arrogance testifies against them; Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; even Judah stumbles with them.
6. 6OPVگوسفندان وگاوان خود را میآورند تا خداوند را بطلبند، اما اورا نخواهند یافت چونکه خود را از ایشان دورساخته است.BSBBSB: They go with their flocks and herds to seek the LORD, but they do not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them.
7. 7OPVبه خداوند خیانت ورزیدهاند زیرافرزندان اجنبی تولید نمودهاند. الان هلالها ایشان را با ملکهای ایشان خواهد بلعید.BSBBSB: They have been unfaithful to the LORD; for they have borne illegitimate children. Now the New Moon will devour them along with their land.
8. 8OPVدر جبعه کرنا و در رامه سرنا بنوازید و دربیت آون صدا بزنید در عقب توای بنیامین.BSBBSB: Blow the ram’s horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah; raise the battle cry in Beth-aven: Lead on, O Benjamin!
9. 9OPVافرایم در روز عتاب خراب خواهد شد. در میان اسباط اسرائیل به یقین اعلام نمودم.BSBBSB: Ephraim will be laid waste on the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel I proclaim what is certain.
10. 10OPVسروران اسرائیل مثل نقل کنندگان حدود میباشند. پس خشم خویش را مثل آب بر ایشان خواهم ریخت.BSBBSB: The princes of Judah are like those who move boundary stones; I will pour out My fury upon them like water.
11. 11OPVافرایم مقهور شده و در داوری کوفته گردیده است زیرا که به پیروی تقالید خرسندمی باشد.BSBBSB: Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, for he is determined to follow worthless idols.
12. 12OPVبنابراین من برای افرایم مثل بیدشدهام و برای خاندان یهودا مانند پوسیدگی.BSBBSB: So I am like a moth to Ephraim, and like decay to the house of Judah.
13. 13OPVچون افرایم بیماری خود را و یهودا جراحت خویش را دیدند، افرایم به آشور رفته و نزدپادشاهی که دشمن بود فرستاده است اما او شمارا شفا نمی تواند داد و جراحت شما را التیام نتواند نمود.BSBBSB: When Ephraim saw his sickness and Judah his wound, then Ephraim turned to Assyria and sent to the great king. But he cannot cure you or heal your wound.
14. 14OPVو من برای افرایم مثل شیر و برای خاندان یهودا مانند شیر ژیان خواهم بود. من خودم خواهم درید و رفته خواهم ربود ورهانندهای نخواهد بود.BSBBSB: For I am like a lion to Ephraim and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them to pieces and then go away. I will carry them off where no one can rescue them.
15. 15OPVمن روانه شده، به مکان خود خواهم برگشت تا ایشان به عصیان خوداعتراف نموده، روی مرا بطلبند. در تنگی خودصبح زود مرا خواهند طلبید.BSBBSB: Then I will return to My place until they admit their guilt and seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”
