1و باز به کنیسه درآمده، در آنجا مرد دست خشکی بود.Once again Jesus entered the synagogue, and a man with a withered hand was there.

2و مراقب وی بودند که شاید او را در سبت شفا دهد تا مدعی او گردند.In order to accuse Jesus, they were watching to see if He would heal on the Sabbath.

3پس بدان مرد دست خشک گفت: «در میان بایست!»Then Jesus said to the man with the withered hand, “Stand up among us.”

4و بدیشان گفت: «آیا در روز سبت کدام جایز است؟ نیکوییکردن یا بدی؟ جان رانجات دادن یا هلاک کردن؟» ایشان خاموش ماندند.And He asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?” But they were silent.

5پس چشمان خود را بر ایشان باغضب گردانیده، زیرا که از سنگدلی ایشان محزون بود، به آن مرد گفت: «دست خود رادراز کن!» پس دراز کرده، دستش صحیح گشت.Jesus looked around at them with anger and sorrow at their hardness of heart. Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out, and it was restored.

6در ساعت فریسیان بیرون رفته، با هیرودیان درباره او شورا نمودند که چطور او را هلاک کنند.At this, the Pharisees went out and began plotting with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.

7و عیسی با شاگردانش به سوی دریا آمد وگروهی بسیار از جلیل به عقب او روانه شدند،So Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea, accompanied by a large crowd from Galilee, Judea,

8واز یهودیه و از اورشلیم و ادومیه و آن طرف اردن و از حوالی صور و صیدون نیز جمعی کثیر، چون اعمال او را شنیدند، نزد وی آمدند.Jerusalem, Idumea, the region beyond the Jordan, and the vicinity of Tyre and Sidon. The large crowd came to Him when they heard what great things He was doing.

9و به شاگردان خود فرمود تا زورقی بهسبب جمعیت، بجهت او نگاه دارند تا بر وی ازدحام ننمایند،Jesus asked His disciples to have a boat ready for Him so that the crowd would not crush Him.

10زیرا که بسیاری را صحت میداد، بقسمی که هرکه صاحب دردی بود بر او هجوم میآورد تااو را لمس نماید.For He had healed so many that all who had diseases were pressing forward to touch Him.

11و ارواح پلید چون او رادیدند، پیش او به روی درافتادند و فریادکنان میگفتند که «تو پسر خدا هستی.»And when the unclean spirits saw Him, they fell down before Him and cried out, “You are the Son of God!”

12و ایشان را به تاکید بسیار فرمود که او را شهرت ندهند.But He warned them sternly not to make Him known.

13پس بر فراز کوهی برآمده، هرکه راخواست به نزد خود طلبید و ایشان نزد او آمدند.Then Jesus went up on the mountain and called for those He wanted, and they came to Him.

14و دوازده نفر را مقرر فرمود تا همراه او باشند وتا ایشان را بجهت وعظ نمودن بفرستد،He appointed twelve of them, whom He designated as apostles, to accompany Him, to be sent out to preach,

15وایشان را قدرت باشد که مریضان را شفا دهند ودیوها را بیرون کنند.and to have authority to drive out demons.

16و شمعون را پطرس نام نهاد.These are the twelve He appointed: Simon (whom He named Peter),

17و یعقوب پسر زبدی و یوحنا برادریعقوب؛ این هر دو را بوانرجس یعنی پسران رعد نام گذارد.James son of Zebedee and his brother John (whom He named Boanerges, meaning “Sons of Thunder”),

18و اندریاس و فیلپس و برتولما و متی و توما و یعقوب بن حلفی و تدی وشمعون قانوی،Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot,

19و یهودای اسخریوطی که او راتسلیم کرد.and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.

20و چون به خانه درآمدند، باز جمعی فراهم آمدند بطوری که ایشان فرصت نان خوردن هم نکردند.Then Jesus went home, and once again a crowd gathered, so that He and His disciples could not even eat.

21و خویشان او چون شنیدند، بیرون آمدند تا او را بردارند زیرا گفتند بیخود شده است.When His family heard about this, they went out to take custody of Him, saying, “He is out of His mind.”

22و کاتبانی که از اورشلیم آمده بودند، گفتند که بعلزبول دارد و به یاری رئیس دیوها، دیوها را اخراج میکند.And the scribes who had come down from Jerusalem were saying, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons He drives out demons.”

23پس ایشان را پیش طلبیده، مثلها زده، بدیشان گفت: «چطور میتواندشیطان، شیطان را بیرون کند؟So Jesus called them together and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan?

24و اگر مملکتی برخلاف خود منقسم شود، آن مملکت نتواندپایدار بماند.If a kingdom is divided against itself, it cannot stand.

25و هرگاه خانهای به ضد خویش منقسم شد، آن خانه نمی تواند استقامت داشته باشد.If a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand.

26و اگر شیطان با نفس خود مقاومت نمایدو منقسم شود، او نمی تواند قائم ماند بلکه هلاک میگردد.And if Satan is divided and rises against himself, he cannot stand; his end has come.

27و هیچکس نمی تواند به خانه مردزورآور درآمده، اسباب او را غارت نماید، جزآنکه اول آن زورآور را ببندد و بعد از آن خانه اورا تاراج میکند.Indeed, no one can enter a strong man’s house to steal his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder his house.

28هرآینه به شما میگویم که همه گناهان از بنی آدم آمرزیده میشود و هر قسم کفر که گفته باشند،Truly I tell you, the sons of men will be forgiven all sins and blasphemies, as many as they utter.

29لیکن هرکه به روحالقدس کفر گوید، تا به ابد آمرزیده نشود بلکه مستحق عذاب جاودانی بود.»But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of eternal sin.”

30زیرا که میگفتند روحی پلید دارد.Jesus made this statement because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”

31پس برادران و مادر او آمدند و بیرون ایستاده، فرستادند تا او را طلب کنند.Then Jesus’ mother and brothers came and stood outside. They sent someone in to summon Him,

32آنگاه جماعت گرد او نشسته بودند و به وی گفتند: «اینک مادرت و برادرانت بیرون تو را میطلبند.»and a crowd was sitting around Him. “Look,” He was told, “Your mother and brothers are outside, asking for You.”

33در جواب ایشان گفت: «کیست مادر من وبرادرانم کیانند؟»But Jesus replied, “Who are My mother and My brothers?”

34پس بر آنانی که گرد وی نشسته بودند، نظر افکنده، گفت: «اینانند مادر وبرادرانم،Looking at those seated in a circle around Him, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!

35زیرا هرکه اراده خدا را بهجا آردهمان برادر و خواهر و مادر من باشد.»For whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother.”
