1. 1PORONBVOuçam este julgamento! Ele é pronunciado pelo Senhor contra vocês, ó israelitas; contra toda esta família que eu tirei do Egito:BSBBSB: Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt:
2. 2PORONBV“Dentre todos os povos da terra, eu escolhi exatamente vocês. É por isso que devo castigá-los por todos os seus pecados.BSBBSB: “Only you have I known from all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”
3. 3PORONBVComo é que duas pessoas poderão caminhar juntas, se não estiverem de acordo?BSBBSB: Can two walk together without agreeing where to go?
4. 4PORONBV“Será que o leão ruge na floresta se não apanhou alguma presa? Por acaso o leão novo ruge em sua toca se nada caçou?BSBBSB: Does a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey? Does a young lion growl in his den if he has caught nothing?
5. 5PORONBVA armadilha não se fecha a menos que o pássaro pise nela. Será que a armadilha se desarma sem que nada tenha sido apanhado?BSBBSB: Does a bird land in a snare where no bait has been set? Does a trap spring from the ground when it has nothing to catch?
6. 6PORONBVJá soou o alarme, escutem e tremam de medo! Porque eu, o Senhor, vou mandar a calamidade contra a sua terra.BSBBSB: If a ram’s horn sounds in a city, do the people not tremble? If calamity comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?
7. 7PORONBV“Mas como sempre, antes do castigo, eu, o Senhor, o Soberano, revelo os meus planos por meio dos meus servos, os profetas”.BSBBSB: Surely the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.
8. 8PORONBVO leão rugiu, quem não temerá? Quando o Senhor, o Soberano, anunciou seu julgamento, quem não profetizará?BSBBSB: The lion has roared—who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken—who will not prophesy?
9. 9PORONBVAnunciem nos palácios de Asdode e do Egito e digam a eles: “Reúnam-se nos montes de Samaria para serem testemunhas do grande tumulto que há ali e dos crimes cometidos em Israel.BSBBSB: Proclaim to the citadels of Ashdod and to the citadels of Egypt: “Assemble on the mountains of Samaria; see the great unrest in the city and the acts of oppression in her midst.”
10. 10PORONBVO meu povo esqueceu o que significa fazer o que é correto”, diz o Senhor. “Suas belas casas estão cheias de riquezas obtidas com roubo e violência”.BSBBSB: “For they know not how to do right,” declares the LORD. “They store up violence and destruction in their citadels.”
11. 11PORONBVPor isso, assim diz o Senhor, o Soberano: “Um inimigo se aproxima! Ele cerca os israelitas e acabará destruindo suas fortalezas e suas lindas casas”.BSBBSB: Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “An enemy will surround the land; he will pull down your strongholds and plunder your citadels.”
12. 12PORONBVO Senhor faz uma comparação: “Um pastor tentou livrar a sua ovelha da boca de um leão, mas já era tarde demais; conseguiu arrancar da boca do leão duas pernas e um pedaço da orelha. Isso vai acontecer quando os israelitas em Samaria forem finalmente socorridos: o que vai sobrar de tudo o que possuíam é uma cadeira de descanso e uma cama quebrada.BSBBSB: This is what the LORD says: “As the shepherd snatches from the mouth of the lion two legs or a piece of an ear, so the Israelites dwelling in Samaria will be rescued having just the corner of a bed or the cushion of a couch.
13. 13PORONBV“Escutem esse aviso e espalhem a notícia em todo o Israel”, diz o Senhor, o Soberano, o Deus dos Exércitos.BSBBSB: Hear and testify against the house of Jacob, declares the Lord GOD, the God of Hosts.
14. 14PORONBV“No mesmo dia em que eu castigar Israel por causa de seus pecados, também destruirei os altares de ídolos que há em Betel. As pontas do altar serão arrancadas e jogadas ao chão.BSBBSB: On the day I punish Israel for their transgressions, I will visit destruction on the altars of Bethel; the horns of the altar will be cut off, and they will fall to the ground.
15. 15PORONBVEu destruirei as belas mansões dos ricos, suas residências de inverno e suas residências de verão. E também demolirei os palácios cobertos de marfim, e as mansões desaparecerão”, diz o Senhor.BSBBSB: I will tear down the winter house along with the summer house; the houses of ivory will also perish, and the great houses will come to an end,” declares the LORD.
