1. 1PORONBV“Você, Jezreel, troque os nomes de seu irmão e de sua irmã. Chame seu irmão de ‘Meu Povo’ e sua irmã de ‘Amada’!BSBBSB: “Say of your brothers, ‘My people,’ and of your sisters, ‘My loved one.’
2. 2PORONBV“Chame a atenção de sua mãe, porque ela se tornou mulher de outro homem. Eu já não sou mais o marido dela. Digam para ela parar com o seu adultério, que deixe de se entregar a outros homens.BSBBSB: Rebuke your mother, rebuke her, for she is not My wife, and I am not her husband. Let her remove the adultery from her face and the unfaithfulness from between her breasts.
3. 3PORONBVSe ela não fizer isso, vou deixá-la nua como no dia em que nasceu. Vou tirar tudo o que ela possui, vou deixá-la morrer de sede como se estivesse perdida num deserto, sem comida e sem água.BSBBSB: Otherwise, I will strip her naked and expose her like the day of her birth. I will make her like a desert and turn her into a parched land, and I will let her die of thirst.
4. 4PORONBVAlém disso, não vou favorecer os outros filhos que ela teve, como se fossem meus filhos, porque esses outros não são meus, são filhos de adultério.BSBBSB: I will have no compassion on her children, because they are the children of adultery.
5. 5PORONBV“A mãe dessas crianças cometeu adultério, traiu seu marido. O que ela fez foi uma vergonha. Ela disse: ‘Irei atrás de outros homens para me oferecer a eles em troca de comida, água, lã, linho, azeite e bebida’.BSBBSB: For their mother has played the harlot and has conceived them in disgrace. For she thought, ‘I will go after my lovers, who give me bread and water, wool and linen, oil and drink.’
6. 6PORONBVPor isso, vou bloquear seus caminhos com espinhos, de tal modo que ela não poderá encontrar o caminho.BSBBSB: Therefore, behold, I will hedge up her path with thorns; I will enclose her with a wall, so she cannot find her way.
7. 7PORONBVE quando ela sair atrás de seus amantes, não vai alcançá-los. Ela vai procurá-los, mas não encontrará seus amantes. Pensará então: ‘Bem que eu podia voltar para meu marido, como no início, porque eu estava muito melhor do que agora’.BSBBSB: She will pursue her lovers but not catch them; she will seek them but not find them. Then she will say, ‘I will return to my first husband, for then I was better off than now.’

Fui eu que dei o trigo, o vinho, o azeite, quem a cobriu de ouro e prata que depois ela usou para adorar a Baal, seu ídolo!BSBBSB: For she does not acknowledge that it was I who gave her grain, new wine, and oil, who lavished on her silver and gold—which they crafted for Baal.
9. 9PORONBV“Mas agora não vou dar a ela o meu trigo quando chegar o tempo da colheita e o meu vinho quando estiver pronto. Vou tirar dela as roupas que escondem a sua nudez.BSBBSB: Therefore I will take back My grain in its time and My new wine in its season; I will take away My wool and linen, which were given to cover her nakedness.
10. 10PORONBVVou deixar que ela fique nua, em público, para todos os seus amantes verem, e ninguém será capaz de livrá-la das minhas mãos.BSBBSB: And then I will expose her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and no one will deliver her out of My hands.
11. 11PORONBV“Vou dar fim a todas as suas alegrias. Vou acabar com suas festas anuais, suas luas novas, seus dias de sábado e todas as outras festas.BSBBSB: I will put an end to all her exultation: her feasts, New Moons, and Sabbaths—all her appointed feasts.
12. 12PORONBVDestruirei as videiras e pomares que ela possui — presentes que ela diz ter recebido de seus amantes — e deixarei que se transformem em mato. Os animais selvagens comerão as frutas dessas árvores.BSBBSB: I will destroy her vines and fig trees, which she thinks are the wages paid by her lovers. So I will make them into a thicket, and the beasts of the field will devour them.
13. 13PORONBV“Vou castigá-la por causa do incenso que ela queimou como oferta a Baal, seu ídolo. Vou castigá-la pelas muitas vezes em que se enfeitou com suas joias e saiu atrás de seus amantes, deixando-me de lado. Eu, o Senhor, falei.BSBBSB: I will punish her for the days of the Baals when she burned incense to them, when she adorned herself with rings and jewelry, and went after her lovers. But Me she forgot,” declares the LORD.
14. 14PORONBV“Apesar disso, voltarei a gostar dela. Eu a levarei ao deserto e falarei do meu grande amor por ela.BSBBSB: “Therefore, behold, I will allure her and lead her to the wilderness, and speak to her tenderly.
15. 15PORONBVLá, eu lhe darei de volta as suas videiras e transformarei o vale da desgraça em uma porta de esperança. Ela corresponderá ao meu amor e cantará de alegria como nos velhos dias da sua juventude, quando foi tirada por mim do Egito.BSBBSB: There I will give back her vineyards and make the Valley of Achor into a gateway of hope. There she will respond as she did in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.
16. 16PORONBV“Naquele dia, diz o Senhor, ela me chamará ‘Meu Marido’ em vez de ‘Meu Baal’.BSBBSB: In that day,” declares the LORD, “you will call Me ‘my Husband,’ and no longer call Me ‘my Master.’
17. 17PORONBVNunca mais deixarei que ela diga o nome Baal; nunca mais ele será invocado; nunca mais!BSBBSB: For I will remove from her lips the names of the Baals; no longer will their names be invoked.
18. 18PORONBV“Naquele dia, farei um acordo entre vocês e os animais selvagens, as aves do céu e com os animais que rastejam no chão. Os homens não terão medo dos animais, nem os animais terão medo do homem. Destruirei todas as armas e todas as guerras acabarão, para que todos possam viver em paz e segurança.BSBBSB: On that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the creatures that crawl on the ground. And I will abolish bow and sword and battle in the land, and will make them lie down in safety.
19. 19PORONBVEu me casarei com você para sempre, e você será minha legítima esposa para sempre; nós seremos unidos por laços de justiça, de retidão, de amor e misericórdia.BSBBSB: So I will betroth you to Me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in loving devotion and compassion.
20. 20PORONBVEu me casarei com você com fidelidade e amor, e então você se dedicará a mim, o Senhor.BSBBSB: And I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will know the LORD.”
21. 21PORONBV“Naquele dia eu responderei”, diz o Senhor. “Responderei aos céus que pedem às nuvens para derramarem água sobre a terra em resposta aos pedidos desesperados de chuva.BSBBSB: “On that day I will respond—” declares the LORD—“I will respond to the heavens, and they will respond to the earth.
22. 22PORONBVAssim, a terra poderá responder aos cereais, ao vinho e ao azeite que pedem umidade e orvalho. Então um grande coro cantará a uma só voz: ‘Deus Semeia!’ ‘É ele quem dá vida a tudo!’BSBBSB: And the earth will respond to the grain, to the new wine and oil, and they will respond to Jezreel.
23. 23PORONBV“Naquele tempo, plantarei o meu povo na terra e os farei crescer para mim mesmo! Terei compaixão daquela que se chama ‘Não Amada’ e direi àquele que hoje é chamado ‘Não Meu Povo’: ‘Agora vocês são meu povo’. E ele responderá: ‘O Senhor é nosso Deus’ ”.BSBBSB: And I will sow her as My own in the land, and I will have compassion on ‘No Compassion.’ I will say to those called ‘Not My People,’ ‘You are My people,’ and they will say, ‘You are my God.’”
