BSB BSB: After David had settled into his palace, he said to Nathan the prophet, “Here I am, living in a house of cedar, while the ark of the covenant of the LORD is under a tent.”

4 ULB "Vai e diz a Meu servo Davi: 'Assim diz Yahweh: Tu não construirás uma casa para Eu morar, BSB BSB: “Go and tell My servant David that this is what the LORD says: You are not the one to build Me a house in which to dwell.
5 ULB pois Eu não morei em casa alguma desde o dia em que tirei Israel do Egito até o dia de hoje. Em vez disso, tenho morado em uma tenda, um tabernáculo, em vários lugares. BSB BSB: For I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought Israel up out of Egypt until this day, but I have moved from tent to tent and dwelling to dwelling.
6 ULB Em todos os lugares para os quais Me mudei, entre todo o Israel, porventura, falei alguma palavra aos líderes de Israel que designei para pastorear o Meu povo, dizendo: 'Por que não Me edificaste uma casa de cedro?"'. BSB BSB: In all My journeys with all the Israelites, have I ever asked any of the leaders I appointed to shepherd My people, ‘Why haven’t you built Me a house of cedar?’

BSB BSB: Now then, you are to tell My servant David that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture, from following the flock, to be the ruler over My people Israel.
8 ULB Eu tenho estado contigo por onde quer que foste e tenho eliminado todos os teus inimigos de diante de ti, e farei teu nome tão grande quanto o nome dos maiores líderes na Terra; BSB BSB: I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make for you a name like that of the greatest in the land.
9 ULB Eu designarei um lugar para Meu povo Israel e o plantarei lá para que possam viver em seu próprio lugar e não sejam mais perturbados; não serão mais oprimidos por perversos, como antes, BSB BSB: And I will provide a place for My people Israel and will plant them so that they may dwell in a place of their own and be disturbed no more. No longer will the sons of wickedness oppress them as they did at the beginning
10 ULB desde os dias em que ordenei juízes sobre o Meu povo Israel. Então, Eu subjugarei todos os teus inimigos; também te digo, que Eu, Yahweh, edificarei uma casa para ti. BSB BSB: and have done since the day I appointed judges over My people Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover, I declare to you that the LORD will build a house for you.
11 ULB Quando teus dias forem cumpridos para ires a teus pais, suscitarei um descendente depois de ti, um dos teus filhos, e Eu estabelecerei o seu reino; BSB BSB: And when your days are fulfilled and you go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
12 ULB ele construirá uma casa para Mim e Eu estabelecerei o trono dele para sempre. BSB BSB: He will build a house for Me, and I will establish his throne forever.
13 ULB Eu lhe serei por Pai e ele será Meu filho; não retirarei dele Minha misericórdia, como a retirei de Saul, que governou antes de ti; BSB BSB: I will be his Father, and he will be My son. And I will never remove My loving devotion from him as I removed it from your predecessor.
14 ULB Eu o confirmarei na Minha casa em Meu reino para sempre, seu trono será estabelecido para sempre"'. BSB BSB: But I will set him over My house and My kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.”
15 ULB Natã falou a Davi, relatou-lhe todas essas palavras e lhe contou toda a visão. BSB BSB: So Nathan relayed to David all the words of this entire revelation.
16 ULB Então, o rei Davi entrou, ficou diante de Yahweh e disse: "Quem sou eu, Deus Yahweh, e quem é minha família para que me tenhas trazido até aqui? BSB BSB: Then King David went in, sat before the LORD, and said, “Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that You have brought me this far?
17 ULB Pois isso foi pouco aos Teus olhos, Deus, falar sobre a família de Teu servo sobre um maravilhoso futuro, e me mostrar as gerações futuras, Deus Yahweh. BSB BSB: And as if this was a small thing in Your eyes, O God, You have spoken about the future of the house of Your servant and have regarded me as a man of great distinction, O LORD God.
18 ULB Que mais posso eu, Davi, dizer a Ti? Tens honrado Teu servo. Tu tens dado reconhecimento especial ao Teu servo. BSB BSB: What more can David say to You for honoring Your servant? For You know Your servant,
19 ULB Yahweh, por causa de Teu servo e para cumprir Teu propósito, tens feito grandes coisas para revelar todos os Teus grandes feitos. BSB BSB: O LORD. For the sake of Your servant and according to Your own heart, You have accomplished this great thing and made known all these great promises.
20 ULB Yahweh, não há ninguém como Tu e não há outro Deus além de Ti, assim como sempre ouvimos. BSB BSB: O LORD, there is none like You, and there is no God but You, according to everything we have heard with our own ears.
21 ULB Que nação na Terra é como Teu povo Israel a quem Tu, Deus, resgataste do Egito para ser Teu povo, e engrandeceste Teu próprio Nome pelos grandes e maravilhosos feitos? Tu expulsaste nações diante de Teu povo a quem resgataste do Egito. BSB BSB: And who is like Your people Israel—the one nation on earth whom God went out to redeem as a people for Himself? You made a name for Yourself through great and awesome wonders by driving out nations from before Your people, whom You redeemed from Egypt.
22 ULB Fizeste Israel, Teu povo para sempre, e Tu, Yahweh, Te tornaste o seu Deus. BSB BSB: For You have made Your people Israel Your very own forever, and You, O LORD, have become their God.
23 ULB Então, agora, Yahweh, que a promessa que fizeste a respeito de Teu servo e sua família, seja estabelecida para sempre. Faze como falaste. BSB BSB: And now, O LORD, let the word You have spoken concerning Your servant and his house be established forever. Do as You have promised,
24 ULB Que Teu nome seja estabelecido para sempre e seja engrandecido. Assim, o povo dirá: 'Yahweh dos Exércitos é o Deus de Israel', e que a casa de Teu servo Davi permaneça firme diante de Ti. BSB BSB: so that Your name will be established and magnified forever when it is said, ‘The LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, is God over Israel.’ And may the house of Your servant David be established before You.
25 ULB Pois Tu, meu Deus, revelaste a Teu servo que lhe construirás uma casa; por isso encontrei eu, Teu servo, coragem para orar a Ti. BSB BSB: For You, my God, have revealed to Your servant that You will build a house for him. Therefore Your servant has found the courage to pray before You.
26 ULB Agora, Yahweh, Tu és Deus e tens feito essa boa promessa a Teu servo. BSB BSB: And now, O LORD, You are God! And You have promised this goodness to Your servant.
27 ULB Agora, Te agradaste abençoar a casa de Teu servo, e que possa continuar para sempre diante de Ti; pois Tu, Yahweh, a tens abençoado e será abençoada para sempre". BSB BSB: So now You have been pleased to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You. For You, O LORD, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.”
