6 ULB O vosso orgulho não é bom. Não sabeis que um pouco de fermento leveda toda a massa? BSB BSB: Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven works through the whole batch of dough?
8 ULB Assim, celebremos a festa, não com fermento velho, o fermento do mau comportamento e da maldade, mas com o pão não levedado da sinceridade e da verdade. BSB BSB: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with the old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth.

10 ULB De maneira nenhuma me refiro às pessoas imorais deste mundo, ou aos gananciosos, aos trapaceiros ou aos idólatras, uma vez que para estar longe deles precisaríeis sair do mundo. BSB BSB: But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
12 ULB Pois, como posso estar envolvido com o julgamento daqueles que são de fora da igreja? Em vez disso, não julgais aqueles que estão dentro da igreja? BSB BSB: What business of mine is it to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
13 ULB Mas Deus julga aqueles que estão fora: "Remova a pessoa má de entre vós". BSB BSB: God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked man from among you.”
