1 ULB Ouvi esta palavra que Yahweh tem falado contra vós, povo de Israel, contra toda a família que tirei da terra do Egito: BSB BSB: Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt:
2 ULB "Eu escolhi somente a ti, dentre todas as famílias da terra. Portanto, eu te punirei por todos os teus pecados. BSB BSB: “Only you have I known from all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”
3 ULB Andarão dois juntos, a não ser que estejam de acordo? BSB BSB: Can two walk together without agreeing where to go?
4 ULB Rugirá o leão na floresta, quando ele não tem presa? Poderá o filhote de leão rosnar do seu esconderijo, sem ter apanhado nada? BSB BSB: Does a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey? Does a young lion growl in his den if he has caught nothing?

7 ULB Certamente o Senhor Yahweh não fará nada, a menos que Ele revele seu plano para seus servos, os profetas. BSB BSB: Surely the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.
8 ULB O leão tem rugido; quem não temerá? O Senhor Yahweh tem falado; quem não profetizará? BSB BSB: The lion has roared—who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken—who will not prophesy?
9 ULB Proclamai isto nas fortalezas de Asdode e nas fortalezas na terra do Egito. Dizei: "Reuni-vos nos montes de Samaria e vede que grande confusão e opressão estão em seu meio.
