1. 1ULBE quanto a vós, estáveis mortos em vossas transgressões e pecados,BSBBSB: And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
2. 2ULBnos quais antes andastes, de acordo com os caminhos deste mundo, segundo o governante das autoridades do ar. Esse é o espírito daquele que está operando nos filhos da desobediência.BSBBSB: in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ways of this world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience.
3. 3ULBTodos nós estivemos antes entre esses incrédulos, e agíamos segundo os maus desejos de nossa carne, fazendo a vontade da carne e da mente. Éramos por natureza filhos da ira como os demais.BSBBSB: All of us also lived among them at one time, fulfilling the cravings of our flesh and indulging its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature children of wrath.
4. 4ULBMas Deus é rico em misericórdia, por causa de Seu grande amor com que Ele nos amou.BSBBSB: But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
5. 5ULBEnquanto estávamos mortos em transgressões, Ele nos trouxe à vida juntamente com Cristo. É pela graça que vós fostes salvos.BSBBSB: made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!
6. 6ULBDeus nos ressuscitou com Ele e nos fez sentar juntamente nos lugares celestiais em Cristo Jesus,BSBBSB: And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
7. 7ULBpara que, nos tempos vindouros, Ele pudesse mostrar-nos as imensuráveis riquezas da Sua graça pela Sua bondade em Cristo Jesus.BSBBSB: in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
8. 8ULBPorque pela graça sois salvos, por meio da fé, e isso não vem de vós; é dom de Deus.BSBBSB: For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9. 9ULBNão é por obras, para que ninguém se glorie.BSBBSB: not by works, so that no one can boast.
10. 10ULBPorque nós somos feitura de Deus, criados em Cristo Jesus para fazer boas obras, as quais Deus planejou há muito tempo para nós, para que andássemos nelas.BSBBSB: For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.
11. 11ULBPortanto lembrai-vos, gentios na carne, chamados "incircuncisão" por aqueles que foram circuncidados na carne por mãos humanas,BSBBSB: Therefore remember that formerly you who are Gentiles in the flesh and called uncircumcised by the so-called circumcision (that done in the body by human hands)—
12. 12ULBque naquele tempo vós estáveis separados de Cristo. Éreis estrangeiros ao povo de Israel e alheios às alianças da promessa, não tendo esperança acerca do futuro e sem Deus no mundo.BSBBSB: remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.
13. 13ULBMas agora, em Cristo Jesus, vós, que antes estáveis longe de Deus, fostes trazidos para perto Dele pelo sangue de Cristo.BSBBSB: But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
14. 14ULBPorque Ele é a nossa paz. Ele fez de ambos um só. Pela Sua carne Ele destruiu o muro de inimizade que nos separava.BSBBSB: For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has torn down the dividing wall of hostility
15. 15ULBIsto é, Ele aboliu a lei de mandamentos e regulamentos para que pudesse criar um novo homem Nele, estabelecendo a paz.BSBBSB: by abolishing in His flesh the law of commandments and decrees. He did this to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace

18. 18ULBPois, por meio de Jesus, ambos temos acesso ao Pai em um Espírito.BSBBSB: For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
19. 19ULBEntão agora, vós, gentios, não sois mais estrangeiros e forasteiros. Ao invés disso, sois concidadãos com o santo povo de Deus, sois membros da família de Deus.BSBBSB: Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household,
20. 20ULBFostes edificados sobre o fundamento dos apóstolos e dos profetas, sendo o próprio Cristo Jesus a pedra angular.BSBBSB: built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.
21. 21ULBNele, todo o edifício se encaixa e cresce como um templo no Senhor.BSBBSB: In Him the whole building is fitted together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
22. 22ULBÉ Nele que também estais sendo edificados juntos como uma morada para Deus no Espírito.BSBBSB: And in Him you too are being built together into a dwelling place for God in His Spirit.
