1 ULB Portanto tornai-vos imitadores de Deus, como Seus filhos amados, BSB BSB: Be imitators of God, therefore, as beloved children,

21 ULB sujeitando-vos uns aos outros no temor de Cristo. BSB BSB: Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
22 ULB Esposas, sujeitai-vos aos vossos maridos como ao Senhor. BSB BSB: Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
23 ULB Pois o marido é cabeça da esposa, como também Cristo é cabeça da Igreja, sendo Ele o Salvador do corpo. BSB BSB: For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior.
24 ULB Mas, assim como a igreja está sujeita a Cristo, então também as esposas devem ser sujeitas ao seus maridos em tudo. BSB BSB: Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
26 ULB Ele o fez para que pudesse torná-la santa, tendo-a purificado por meio da lavagem de água pela palavra, BSB BSB: to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
27 ULB de modo que pudesse apresentar para Ele mesmo uma Igreja gloriosa, sem manchas nem rugas nem coisa semelhante, mas santa e irrepreensível. BSB BSB: and to present her to Himself as a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.
28 ULB Da mesma forma, os maridos devem amar suas próprias esposas como a seus próprios corpos. Aquele que ama sua esposa ama a si mesmo. BSB BSB: In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
