Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must surely be put to death.
16 ULB Portanto os israelitas devem guardar o sábado, observando-o através das gerações como lei perpétua. BSB BSB: The Israelites must keep the Sabbath, celebrating it as a permanent covenant for the generations to come.
17 ULB O sábado será um sinal entre Yahweh e os israelitas para sempre, porque Yahweh fez os céus e a terra em seis dias, e no sétimo dia descansou e tomou alento'". BSB BSB: It is a sign between Me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, but on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”
18 ULB Quando Deus acabou de falar com Moisés no monte Sinai, deu-lhe as duas tábuas dos decretos da aliança, tábuas feitas de pedra, escritas pela Sua própria mão. BSB BSB: When the LORD had finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, He gave him the two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.
