BSB BSB: I looked and saw a whirlwind coming from the north, a great cloud with fire flashing back and forth and brilliant light all around it. In the center of the fire was a gleam like amber,
5 ULB No meio, havia a semelhança de quatro seres viventes. Eis a sua aparência: tinham a semelhança de um homem; BSB BSB: and within it was the form of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: They had a human form,
6 ULB porém, cada uma tinha quatro rostos e cada uma das criaturas tinha quatro asas. BSB BSB: but each had four faces and four wings.
7 ULB Suas pernas eram retas, mas as plantas dos seus pés eram como as patas de um bezerro que brilhava como bronze polido. BSB BSB: Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the hooves of a calf, gleaming like polished bronze.
8 ULB Além disso, tinham mãos humanas debaixo das suas asas em todos os quatro lados. Pois os quatro, seus rostos e suas sas eram assim: BSB BSB: Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. All four living creatures had faces and wings,
9 ULB as asas tocavam as asas da próxima criatura e não se viravam enquanto andavam; pelo contrário, cada uma ia adiante. BSB BSB: and their wings were touching one another. They did not turn as they moved; each one went straight ahead.
10 ULB A semelhança dos seus rostos era como o rosto de um homem. Os quatro tinham o rosto de um leão ao lado direito e os quatro tinham o rosto de um boi ao lado esquerdo. Os quatro tinham também o rosto de uma águia. BSB BSB: The form of their faces was that of a man, and each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, the face of an ox on the left side, and also the face of an eagle.
11 ULB Seus rostos eram assim e as suas asas estavam abertas de modo que cada uma tinha um par de asas que tocava as asas da outra criatura e também um par de asas que cobria os seus corpos. 13 ULB Os seres viventes pareciam brasas ardentes, eram como tochas; o fogo respladecia e se movia entre os seres e havia clarões de relâmpago. BSB BSB: In the midst of the living creatures was the appearance of glowing coals of fire, or of torches. Fire moved back and forth between the living creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it.
14 ULB Os seres viventes se moviam rapidamente para frente e para trás e tinham a semelhança de relâmpago! BSB BSB: The creatures were darting back and forth as quickly as flashes of lightning.
15 ULB Depois, olhei para os seres viventes; havia uma roda no chão, ao lado dos seres viventes. BSB BSB: When I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces.
16 ULB Assim era a aparência e estrutura das rodas: cada roda era como berilo e as quatro tinham a mesma semelhança; a sua aparência e estrutura eram como uma roda interligada à outra. BSB BSB: The workmanship of the wheels looked like the gleam of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. Their workmanship looked like a wheel within a wheel.
17 ULB Quando as rodas se moviam, iam sem se virar para qualquer direção para onde os seres olhavam. BSB BSB: As they moved, they went in any of the four directions, without pivoting as they moved.
18 ULB Quanto aos seus aros, eram altos e assustadores, porque os aros estavam cheios de olhos ao seu redor. BSB BSB: Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around.
19 ULB Sempre que os seres viventes se moviam, as rodas se moviam com eles. Quando os seres viventes erguiam-se da terra, as rodas também se erguiam. BSB BSB: So as the living creatures moved, the wheels moved beside them, and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose.
20 ULB Aonde quer que o Espírito fosse, eles iam e as rodas se erguiam com eles, porque o espírito do ser vivente estava nas rodas. BSB BSB: Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise alongside them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
21 ULB Quando os seres se moviam, as rodas também se moviam; e, quando os seres paravam, as rodas paravam; quando os seres se erguiam da terra, as rodas se erguiam com eles, porque o espírito do ser vivente estava nas rodas. BSB BSB: When the creatures moved, the wheels moved; when the creatures stood still, the wheels stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose alongside them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
22 ULB Sobre as cabeças dos seres viventes havia uma redoma, como cristal refulgente, estendida sobre as suas cabeças. BSB BSB: Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was the likeness of an awesome expanse, gleaming like crystal.
23 ULB Debaixo da redoma, cada uma das asas dos seres esticava-se e tocava nas asas do outro ser. Cada um dos seres viventes também tinha um par de asas para se cobrir; cada um tinha um par para cobrir o seu próprio corpo. BSB BSB: And under the expanse, their wings stretched out toward one another. Each one also had two wings covering its body.
24 ULB Então, ouvi o som das suas asas; como o barulho de muitas águas; como a voz do Onipotente sempre que se moviam; como o som de um exército. Sempre que paravam, abaixavam as suas asas. BSB BSB: When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings like the roar of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, like the tumult of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings.
25 ULB Uma voz vinha por cima da redoma sobre as suas cabeças sempre que paravam e abaixavam as suas asas. BSB BSB: And there came a voice from above the expanse over their heads as they stood still with their wings lowered.
26 ULB Sobre a redoma que estava acima das suas cabeças, havia algo semelhante a um trono que era da aparência de uma safira, e, sobre este trono, havia alguém que parecia um homem. BSB BSB: Above the expanse over their heads was the likeness of a throne with the appearance of sapphire, and on the throne high above was a figure like that of a man.
27 ULB Vi que, da cintura para cima, parecia um metal brilhante, cheio de fogo, e, da cintura para baixo, vi um fogo que brilhava ao seu redor. BSB BSB: From what seemed to be His waist up, I saw a gleam like amber, with what looked like fire within it all around. And from what seemed to be His waist down, I saw what looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded Him.
28 ULB Como a aparência de um arco-íris nas nuvens em um dia chuvoso, havia a aparência da luz cintilante que a rodeava. Era a aparência da glória de Yahweh. Quando vi isso, caí com o rosto em terra e ouvi a voz de Quem falava. BSB BSB: The appearance of the brilliant light all around Him was like that of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell facedown and heard a voice speaking.
