1 ULB Não te alegres, Israel, não exultes como os outros povos. Pois tu tens sido infiel, renunciando ao Teu Deus. Amas pagar a prostituta em todas as eiras de trigo. BSB BSB: Do not rejoice, O Israel, with exultation like the nations, for you have played the harlot against your God; you have made love for hire on every threshing floor.
2 ULB Mas a eira e o lagar não os alimentarão, e o vinho novo lhes faltará. BSB BSB: The threshing floor and winepress will not feed them, and the new wine will fail them.
3 ULB Eles não continuarão vivendo na terra de Yahweh; em vez disso, Efraim voltará para o Egito e, um dia, comerão comida impura na Assiria. BSB BSB: They will not remain in the land of the LORD; Ephraim will return to Egypt and eat unclean food in Assyria.
4 ULB Não derramarão ofertas de vinho a Yahweh, também não Lhe agradarão com ofertas. Os seus sacrifícios serão para eles como alimento de luto: todo aquele que comer será profanado. Pois seu alimento será somente para eles; não entrará na casa de Yahweh. 15 ULB Por causa de toda a sua maldade em Gilgal, desde aquele momento, passei a odiá-los. Por causa das suas práticas pecaminosas, Eu os tirarei da Minha casa. Não os amarei mais; todos os seus oficiais são rebeldes. BSB BSB: All their evil appears at Gilgal, for there I hated them. I will drive them from My house for the wickedness of their deeds.
