2 ULB Os nomes dos filhos de Arão eram Nadabe, o primogênito, e Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar. BSB BSB: These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, then Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
3 ULB Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Arão, que foram ungidos e ordenados a servir como sacerdotes. BSB BSB: These were Aaron’s sons, the anointed priests, who were ordained to serve as priests.
4 ULB Mas, Nadabe e Abiú caíram mortos diante de Yahweh, quando ofereceram fogo estranho no deserto de Sinai. Nadabe e Abiú não tinham filhos, portanto, somente Eleazar e Itamar serviram como sacerdotes com Arão, pai deles. BSB BSB: Nadab and Abihu, however, died in the presence of the LORD when they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD in the Wilderness of Sinai. And since they had no sons, only Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests during the lifetime of their father Aaron.
5 ULB Yahweh falou a Moisés e disse-lhe: BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
6 ULB "Traga a tribo de Levi e os apresentem a Arão, o sacerdote, para que eles o ajudem. BSB BSB: “Bring the tribe of Levi and present them to Aaron the priest to assist him.
7 ULB Eles devem cumprir suas obrigações em nome de Arão e de toda a comunidade, diante da Tenda do Encontro. BSB BSB: They are to perform duties for him and for the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting, attending to the service of the tabernacle.
8 ULB Eles devem servir no Tabernáculo. Eles devem cuidar de todas as mobílias da Tenda do Encontro, e eles devem servir as tribos de Israel, nos ofícios do Tabernáculo. BSB BSB: They shall take care of all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting and fulfill obligations for the Israelites by attending to the service of the tabernacle.
9 ULB Tu deves dedicar os levitas a Arão e seus filhos. Eles serão inteiramente separados para ajudá-los a servir o povo de Israel. BSB BSB: Assign the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they have been given exclusively to him from among the Israelites.
10 ULB Tu escolherás, Arão e seus filhos como sacerdotes, mas qualquer estrangeiro que se aproximar, deverá morrer". BSB BSB: So you shall appoint Aaron and his sons to carry out the duties of the priesthood; but any outsider who approaches the tabernacle must be put to death.”
11 ULB Yahweh falou a Moisés. Disse-lhe: BSB BSB: Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
12 ULB "Veja, eu escolhi os levitas do meio do povo de Israel. Eu fiz assim, ao invés de escolher cada primogênito masculino nascido no meio dos israelitas. Os levitas pertencem a Mim. BSB BSB: “Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel in place of every firstborn Israelite from the womb. The Levites belong to Me,
13 ULB Todos os primogênitos pertencem a Mim. No dia em que matei todos os primogênitos na terra do Egito, Eu separei todos os primogênitos de Israel para Mim, tanto homens quanto animais. Eles pertencem a Mim. Eu sou Yahweh". BSB BSB: for all the firstborn are Mine. On the day I struck down every firstborn in the land of Egypt, I consecrated to Myself all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast. They are Mine; I am the LORD.”
14 ULB Yahweh falou a Moisés no deserto de Sinai. Disse-lhe: BSB BSB: Then the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, saying,
15 ULB "Conte os descendentes de Levi em cada família, nas casas de seus antepassados. Conte todos os homens que têm um mês de idade até o mais velho". BSB BSB: “Number the Levites by their families and clans. You are to count every male a month old or more.”
16 ULB Moisés os contou, seguindo as direções dadas a ele pelas palavras de Yahweh, como Ele, o Senhor, lhe ordenara. BSB BSB: So Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he had been commanded.
17 ULB Os nomes dos filhos de Levi eram: Gérson, Coate e Merari. BSB BSB: These were the sons of Levi by name: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
18 ULB Os clãs que vieram dos filhos de Gérson, foram Líbni e Simei. BSB BSB: These were the names of the sons of Gershon by their clans: Libni and Shimei.
19 ULB Os clãs que vieram dos filhos de Coate, foram Anrão, Izar, Hebrom e Uziel. BSB BSB: The sons of Kohath by their clans were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
20 ULB Os clãs que vieram dos filhos de Merari foram Mali e Musi. Esses eram os clãs dos levitas, listados clã por clã. BSB BSB: And the sons of Merari by their clans were Mahli and Mushi. These were the clans of the Levites, according to their families.

32 ULB Eleazar, filho de Arão, o sacerdote, deve liderar o homem que liderará os levitas. Ele deve supervisionar o homem responsável pelo lugar santo. BSB BSB: The chief of the leaders of the Levites was Eleazar son of Aaron the priest; he oversaw those responsible for the duties of the sanctuary.

Eles serão os responsáveis pelo cumprimento dos deveres do lugar santo, em prol do povo de Israel. Qualquer estrangeiro que se aproximar do lugar santo deverá ser morto. BSB BSB: Moses, Aaron, and Aaron’s sons were to camp to the east of the tabernacle, toward the sunrise, before the Tent of Meeting. They were to perform the duties of the sanctuary as a service on behalf of the Israelites; but any outsider who approached the sanctuary was to be put to death.
39 ULB Moisés e Arão contaram todos os homens do clã de Levi que eram da idade de um mês até o mais velho, como Yahweh os ordenou. Eles contaram vinte e dois mil homens. BSB BSB: The total number of Levites that Moses and Aaron counted by their clans at the LORD’s command, including all the males a month old or more, was 22,000.
40 ULB Yahweh disse a Moisés: "Conte todos os primogênitos do povo de Israel que são das idades de um mês até o mais velho. Liste-os por nome. BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Number every firstborn male of the Israelites a month old or more, and list their names.
41 ULB Tu deves dedicar os levitas para Mim, ao invés de todos os primogênitos do povo de Israel. Eu sou Yahweh. E tu deves dedicar o gado dos levitas, ao invés dos primogênitos dos animais dos descendentes de Israel. BSB BSB: You are to take the Levites for Me—I am the LORD—in place of all the firstborn of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of all the firstborn of the livestock of the Israelites.”
42 ULB Moisés contou todos os primogênitos do povo de Israel, como Yahweh lhe ordenara. BSB BSB: So Moses numbered all the firstborn of the Israelites, as the LORD had commanded him.
43 ULB Ele contou todos os primogênitos masculinos por nome, de um mês de idade até o mais velho, totalizando vinte e dois mil, duzentos e setenta e três homens. BSB BSB: The total number of the firstborn males a month old or more, listed by name, was 22,273.
44 ULB Novamente, Yahweh falou a Moisés. Ele disse: BSB BSB: Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
45 ULB "Separe para Mim os levitas, ao invés de todos os primogênitos do meio do povo de Israel e separe para Mim os animais dos levitas, ao invés dos animais do povo. Os levitas pertencem a Mim. Eu sou Yahweh. BSB BSB: “Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock. The Levites belong to Me; I am the LORD.
46 ULB Tu deves coletar cinco siclos pela redenção de cada um dos duzentos e setenta e três primogênitos de Israel, que excederam o número dos levitas. BSB BSB: To redeem the 273 firstborn Israelites who outnumber the Levites,
47 ULB Tu deves usar os siclos do santuário como um padrão de peso. O siclo equivale a vinte geras. BSB BSB: you are to collect five shekels for each one, according to the sanctuary shekel of twenty gerahs.
48 ULB Tu deves dar o preço da redenção que tu pagastes a Arão e a seus filhos". BSB BSB: Give the money to Aaron and his sons as the redemption price for the excess among the Israelites.”
49 ULB Então Moisés coletou o pagamento de redenção do povo, que excedia o número de resgatados pelos levitas. BSB BSB: So Moses collected the redemption money from those in excess of the number redeemed by the Levites.
50 ULB Moisés coletou o dinheiro dos primogênitos do povo de Israel. Ele coletou mil trezentos e sessenta e cinco siclos, segundo o siclo do santuário. BSB BSB: He collected the money from the firstborn of the Israelites: 1,365 shekels, according to the sanctuary shekel.
51 ULB Moisés deu a Arão e seus filhos o dinheiro recebido. Moisés fez tudo o que lhe foi dito para fazer, pela palavra de Yahweh, assim como Ele o ordenara. BSB BSB: And Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and his sons in obedience to the word of the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
