2 ULB Quando os malfeitores se achegaram para devorar a minha carne, meus adversários e inimigos é que tropeçaram e caíram. BSB BSB: When the wicked came upon me to devour my flesh, my enemies and foes stumbled and fell.

4 ULB Uma coisa eu peço a Yahweh e isto buscarei: que eu possa viver na casa de Yahweh todos os dias da minha vida, para ver a beleza de Yahweh e meditar no Seu templo. BSB BSB: One thing I have asked of the LORD; this is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and seek Him in His temple.
5 ULB Pois no dia da tribulação, Ele me esconderá no Seu abrigo; Ele me esconderá no interior de Sua tenda. Ele me levantará sobre o alto de uma rocha! BSB BSB: For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will set me high upon a rock.
6 ULB Então, minha cabeça estará erguida acima dos inimigos que me cercam. Com alegria, oferecerei sacrifícios em Sua tenda; cantarei e louvarei a Yahweh! BSB BSB: Then my head will be held high above my enemies around me. At His tabernacle I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.

8 ULB Meu coração fala sobre Ti: "Buscai a Minha presença!" A Tua presença, Yahweh, eu buscarei! BSB BSB: My heart said, “Seek His face.” Your face, O LORD, I will seek.
9 ULB Não escondas a Tua face de mim; não rejeites Teu servo com ira; Tu tens sido o meu ajudador; não me deixes nem me abandones, Deus da minha salvação! BSB BSB: Hide not Your face from me, nor turn away Your servant in anger. You have been my helper; do not leave me or forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 ULB Mesmo que meu pai e minha mãe me abandonem, Yahweh me acolherá. BSB BSB: Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.
11 ULB Ensina-me o Teu caminho, Yahweh! Conduze-me em um caminho plano por causa dos meus inimigos. BSB BSB: Teach me Your way, O LORD, and lead me on a level path, because of my oppressors.
12 ULB Não me entregues aos desejos dos meus inimigos, pois testemunhas falsas têm-se levantado contra mim, respirando violência. BSB BSB: Do not hand me over to the will of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, breathing out violence.
13 ULB O que teria acontecido comigo se eu não acreditasse que veria a bondade de Yahweh na terra dos viventes? BSB BSB: Still I am certain to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14 ULB Espera por Yahweh! Sê forte e valente em teu coração! Espera por Yahweh! BSB BSB: Wait patiently for the LORD; be strong and courageous. Wait patiently for the LORD!
