8 ULB Disseram em seus corações: "Nós destruiremos todos eles". E queimaram todos os Teus santuários no país. BSB BSB: They said in their hearts, “We will crush them completely.” They burned down every place where God met us in the land.
9 ULB Nós não vemos mais nenhum sinal milagroso de Deus; não há mais profetas, e ninguém dentre nós sabe quanto tempo isso vai durar. BSB BSB: There are no signs for us to see. There is no longer any prophet. And none of us knows how long this will last.
10 ULB Até quando, ó Deus, o inimigo continuará a insultar-Te? O inimigo blasfemará o Teu nome para sempre? BSB BSB: How long, O God, will the enemy taunt You? Will the foe revile Your name forever?
11 ULB Por que reténs a Tua mão, a Tua mão direita? Tira a Tua mão direita das Tuas vestes e os destrói. BSB BSB: Why do You withdraw Your strong right hand? Stretch it out to destroy them!
12 ULB Mas Deus tem sido meu Rei desde os tempos antigos, trazendo salvação à terra. BSB BSB: Yet God is my King from ancient times, working salvation on the earth.
13 ULB Tu dividiste o mar pela Tua força; esmagaste as cabeças dos monstros marinhos nas águas. BSB BSB: You divided the sea by Your strength; You smashed the heads of the dragons of the sea;
14 ULB Tu esmagaste a cabeça do Leviatã e o deste como alimento para aqueles que vivem no deserto. BSB BSB: You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You fed him to the creatures of the desert.
15 ULB Abriste fontes e córregos; secaste rios perenes. BSB BSB: You broke open the fountain and the flood; You dried up the ever-flowing rivers.
16 ULB O dia é Teu, e a noite é Tua também; colocaste o sol e a lua em seu lugar. BSB BSB: The day is Yours, and also the night; You established the moon and the sun.
17 ULB Estabeleceste todos os limites da terra; Tu fizeste o verão e o inverno. BSB BSB: You set all the boundaries of the earth; You made the summer and winter.
18 ULB Relembra-Te como o inimigo diz insultos contra Ti, Yahweh, como aquele povo tolo que blasfemou Teu nome. BSB BSB: Remember how the enemy has mocked You, O LORD, how a foolish people has spurned Your name.
19 ULB Não entregues a vida de Tua pomba a um animal selvagem. Não Te esqueças para sempre da vida do Teu povo oprimido. BSB BSB: Do not deliver the soul of Your dove to beasts; do not forget the lives of Your afflicted forever.
20 ULB Traz à mente Tua aliança, pois as regiões escuras da terra estão cheias de violência. BSB BSB: Consider Your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land.
21 ULB Não deixes que o oprimido retorne envergonhado. Que o pobre e o oprimido louvem o Teu nome. BSB BSB: Do not let the oppressed retreat in shame; may the poor and needy praise Your name.
22 ULB Levanta-Te, Deus; defende Tua própria honra; lembra-Te como os tolos Te insultam o dia todo. BSB BSB: Rise up, O God; defend Your cause! Remember how the fool mocks You all day long.
23 ULB Não Te esqueças da voz de Teu adversário ou do alvoroço dos que continuam a desafiar-Te. BSB BSB: Do not disregard the clamor of Your adversaries, the uproar of Your enemies that ascends continually.
