1Ao anjo da igreja em Éfeso escreve: 'Estas são as palavras Daquele que sustenta as sete estrelas em Sua mão direita e que anda entre os sete candeiros de ouro:“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of Him who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.

2Eu conheço o que tens feito, o teu trabalho árduo e a tua perseverança com paciência. Sei que não podes tolerar homens maus e que puseste à prova aqueles que afirmam por si mesmos serem apóstolos, mas não o são, e os achaste falsos.I know your deeds, your labor, and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and you have tested and exposed as liars those who falsely claim to be apostles.

3Eu sei que tens perseverado com paciência, tens passado por muitas provações por causa do Meu nome e não tens desfalecido.Without growing weary, you have persevered and endured many things for the sake of My name.

4Porém tenho contra ti que deixaste o teu primeiro amor.But I have this against you: You have abandoned your first love.

5Portanto lembra-te de onde caíste, arrepende-te e pratica as primeiras obras. A não ser que te arrependas, virei a ti e removerei o teu candeeiro do seu lugar.Therefore, keep in mind how far you have fallen. Repent and perform the deeds you did at first. But if you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

6Tens, contudo, que odeias as obras dos Nicolaítas, as quais Eu também odeio'.But you have this to your credit: You hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

7Quem tem ouvidos ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas. Ao que vencer, Eu lhe darei o direito de comer da Árvore da Vida, que está no Paraíso de Deus'.He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God.

8"Ao anjo da igreja em Esmirna escreve: 'Estas são as palavras Daquele que é o primeiro e o último, que morreu e tornou a viver:To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of the First and the Last, who died and returned to life.

9Eu conheço tuas aflições e tua pobreza (mas tu és rico) e a blasfêmia daqueles que se dizem judeus, mas não são. Eles são sinagoga de Satanás.I know your affliction and your poverty—though you are rich! And I am aware of the slander of those who falsely claim to be Jews, but are in fact a synagogue of Satan.

10Não temas o que estás prestes a sofrer. Eis que o diabo está para lançar alguns de vós na prisão, para serdes provados, e sofrereis por dez dias. Sê fiel até à morte, e Eu te darei a coroa da vida'.Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will suffer tribulation for ten days. Be faithful even unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

11Quem tem ouvidos ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas. Aquele que vencer não sofrerá o dano da segunda morte'.He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who overcomes will not be harmed by the second death.

12"Ao anjo da igreja em Pérgamo escreve: 'Estas são as palavras Daquele que tem a espada afiada de dois gumes:To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of the One who holds the sharp, double-edged sword.

13Eu sei onde tu habitas, que é onde está o trono de Satanás. Ainda assim, tu permaneces fiel ao Meu nome. Sei que tu não negaste a tua fé em Mim, mesmo nos dias de Antipas, minha fiel testemunha, que foi morto entre vós, onde Satanás habita.I know where you live, where the throne of Satan sits, yet you hold fast to My name. You did not deny your faith in Me, even in the days of My faithful witness Antipas, who was killed among you where Satan dwells.

14Porém tenho algumas coisas contra ti: Alguns que seguem firmemente as doutrinas de Balaão, que ensinou Balaque a armar uma cilada diante dos filhos de Israel, para que eles comessem coisas sacrificadas a ídolos e cometessem imoralidade sexual.But I have a few things against you, because some of you hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumbling block before the Israelites so they would eat food sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality.

15Do mesmo modo, tens alguns que seguem firmemente os ensinos dos Nicolaítas.In the same way, some of you also hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.

16Portanto, arrepende-te! Caso contrário, Eu virei a ti sem demora e contra eles farei guerra, com a espada da minha boca.Therefore repent! Otherwise I will come to you shortly and wage war against them with the sword of My mouth.

17Quem tem ouvidos ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas. Àquele que vencer Eu darei do maná escondido e lhe darei uma pedra branca com um novo nome escrito nela, um nome que ninguém conhece, exceto aquele que a recebe'.He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will give the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone inscribed with a new name, known only to the one who receives it.

18"Ao anjo da igreja em Tiatira escreve: 'Estas são as palavras do Filho de Deus, que tem olhos como chama de fogo e os pés como bronze polido:To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like a blazing fire and whose feet are like polished bronze.

19Eu sei o que tens feito, o teu amor, a tua fé, o teu serviço e a tua perseverança. E conheço os teus últimos feitos que são mais numerosos do que os primeiros.I know your deeds—your love, your faith, your service, your perseverance—and your latest deeds are greater than your first.

20Porém tenho isto contra ti: Toleras a mulher Jezabel, a que se diz profetiza. Pelos seus ensinos, seduz meus servos a cometerem imoralidade sexual e a comerem alimentos sacrificados aos ídolos.But I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads My servants to be sexually immoral and to eat food sacrificed to idols.

21E dei-lhe tempo para que se arrependesse, mas ela não quer se arrepender de sua imoralidade.Even though I have given her time to repent of her immorality, she is unwilling.

22Eis que Eu a lançarei em um leito de enfermidade, bem como em grande aflição os que cometeram adultério com ela, a menos que se arrependam das suas obras.Behold, I will cast her onto a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her will suffer great tribulation unless they repent of her deeds.

23Matarei seus filhos, e todas as igrejas saberão que Eu Sou Aquele que sonda os pensamentos e os corações. Darei a cada um conforme as suas obras.Then I will strike her children dead, and all the churches will know that I am the One who searches minds and hearts, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.

24Aos demais em Tiatira, a todos os que não seguem o ensino dela e não conhecem as chamadas coisas profundas de Satanás, Eu vos digo: Não lançarei sobre vós mais nenhum fardo.But I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned the so-called deep things of Satan: I will place no further burden upon you

25Porém deveis permanecer firmes até que Eu venha.than to hold fast to what you have until I come.

26Àquele que vencer e guardar as minhas obras até o fim Eu lhe darei autoridade sobre as nações.And to the one who overcomes and continues in My work until the end, I will give authority over the nations.

27Ele as governará com cetro de ferro e, como vasos de barro, as quebrará em pedaços.He will rule them with an iron scepter and shatter them like pottery—just as I have received authority from My Father.

28Assim como Eu tenho recebido autoridade de meu Pai, Eu também lhes darei a estrela da manhã.And I will give him the morning star.

29Aquele que tem ouvidos ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas'.He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
