1 ULB Irmãos, o desejo do meu coração e meu pedido a Deus em favor deles é que sejam salvos. BSB BSB: Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is for their salvation.
2 ULB Pois dou testemunho de que eles têm zelo por Deus, mas não de acordo com o conhecimento. BSB BSB: For I testify about them that they are zealous for God, but not on the basis of knowledge.
3 ULB Pois, desconhecendo a justiça de Deus, buscando estabelecer a sua própria justiça, não se submeteram à justiça de Deus. BSB BSB: Because they were ignorant of God’s righteousness and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
4 ULB Pois Cristo é o cumprimento da lei para justiça de todo aquele que crê. BSB BSB: For Christ is the end of the law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.
5 ULB Porque Moisés escreve sobre a justiça que vem da lei: "O homem que pratica a justiça que provém da lei viverá por essa justiça". BSB BSB: For concerning the righteousness that is by the law, Moses writes: “The man who does these things will live by them.”
6 ULB Mas a justiça que vem da fé diz: "Não digas em teu coração: 'Quem subirá ao céu?' (isto é, para trazer Cristo para baixo); BSB BSB: But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down)
7 ULB ou: 'Quem descerá até o abismo?' (isto é, para levantar Cristo dentre os mortos)". BSB BSB: or, ‘Who will descend into the Abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).”
8 ULB Mas o que diz? "A Palavra está próxima de ti, na tua boca e no teu coração". Esta é a palavra de fé que nós proclamamos. BSB BSB: But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
9 ULB Pois, se com tua boca confessares Jesus como Senhor, e creres no teu coração que Deus O ressuscitou dentre os mortos, serás salvo. BSB BSB: that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 ULB Porque com o coração se crê para justiça, e com a boca se confessa para a salvação. BSB BSB: For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.
11 ULB Pois a Escritura diz: "Todo o que Nele crê não será envergonhado". BSB BSB: It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”
12 ULB Pois não há distinção entre judeu e grego; porque o mesmo Senhor é Senhor de todos, sendo rico para com todos que O invocam. BSB BSB: For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him,
14 ULB Como poderão invocar Aquele em Quem não creram? E como poderão crer Naquele de Quem não ouviram falar? E como poderão ouvir se não há quem pregue? BSB BSB: How then can they call on the One in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?
15 ULB E como poderão pregar, se não forem enviados?— Como está escrito: "Quão belos são os pés daqueles que anunciam as boas novas!". BSB BSB: And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
16 ULB Mas nem todos eles deram ouvidos ao Evangelho. Pois Isaías diz: "Senhor, quem acreditou na nossa mensagem?" BSB BSB: But not all of them welcomed the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”
17 ULB Pois a fé vem pelo ouvir, e ouvir a Palavra de Cristo. BSB BSB: Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
18 ULB Mas eu pergunto: eles não ouviram? Sim, certamente. "O som deles se propagou sobre toda a terra, e suas palavras até os confins do mundo". BSB BSB: But I ask, did they not hear? Indeed they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”
19 ULB Além disso, pergunto: Israel não sabia? Primeiro, Moisés diz: "Eu vos provocarei ciúmes pelos que não são uma nação; por meio de uma nação sem entendimento, Eu vos provocarei à ira". BSB BSB: I ask instead, did Israel not understand? First, Moses says: “I will make you jealous by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation without understanding.”
20 ULB E Isaías ousou dizer: "Eu fui achado por aqueles que não Me procuravam. Manifestei-Me aos que não perguntavam por Mim." BSB BSB: And Isaiah boldly says: “I was found by those who did not seek Me; I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me.”
21 ULB Quanto a Israel, Ele diz: "Todo o dia Eu estendi as Minhas mãos para um povo desobediente e rebelde". BSB BSB: But as for Israel he says: “All day long I have held out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”
