1 ULB Agora nós, que somos fortes, devemos suportar as fraquezas dos fracos e não devemos agradar a nós mesmos. BSB BSB: We who are strong ought to bear with the shortcomings of the weak and not to please ourselves.
2 ULB Que cada um de nós agrade ao seu vizinho, pois isso é bom para a edificação dele. BSB BSB: Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
3 ULB Pois também Cristo não agradou a Si mesmo; mas, como está escrito: "Os insultos daqueles que te insultaram caíram sobre mim." BSB BSB: For even Christ did not please Himself, but as it is written: “The insults of those who insult You have fallen on Me.”
4 ULB Pois o que foi escrito anteriormente foi escrito para a nossa instrução, com o objetivo de que, através da paciência e do encorajamento das Escrituras, possamos ter confiança. BSB BSB: For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.
5 ULB Que o Deus da paciência e do encorajamento vos conceda permanecer com a mesma mente, uns para com os outros, de acordo com Cristo Jesus, BSB BSB: Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement grant you harmony with one another in Christ Jesus,
6 ULB para que possais adorar a uma só voz o Deus e Pai de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. BSB BSB: so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 ULB Portanto acolhei uns aos outros, como Cristo também vos acolheu, para a glória de Deus. BSB BSB: Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring glory to God.
8 ULB Pois digo que Cristo foi feito um ministro da circuncisão em favor da verdade de Deus, para confirmar as promessas dadas aos patriarcas, BSB BSB: For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises made to the patriarchs,
9 ULB e para os gentios glorificarem a Deus pela Sua misericórdia. Assim como está escrito: "Então confessarei a Ti no meio dos gentios, e cantarei louvores ao Teu Nome." BSB BSB: so that the Gentiles may glorify God for His mercy. As it is written: “Therefore I will praise You among the Gentiles; I will sing hymns to Your name.”
10 ULB E de novo diz: "Alegrai-vos, gentios, com os povos Dele." BSB BSB: Again, it says: “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people.”
11 ULB E novamente diz: "Louvai ao Senhor, todos vós, gentios; louvai-O, todos os povos." BSB BSB: And again: “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and extol Him, all you peoples.”
12 ULB E ainda Isaías diz: "Brotará a raiz de Jessé, e o que Se levanta para governar sobre os gentios. Nele, os gentios confiarão." BSB BSB: And once more, Isaiah says: “The Root of Jesse will appear, One who will arise to rule over the Gentiles; in Him the Gentiles will put their hope.”
13 ULB Agora, que o Deus da esperança vos encha com toda a alegria e paz no que credes, para que possais transbordar de esperança pelo poder do Espírito Santo. BSB BSB: Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
14 ULB Eu mesmo também estou convencido de que vós, meus irmãos, também estais cheios de bondade e de todo conhecimento. Estou convencido de que sois capazes também de exortar uns aos outros. BSB BSB: I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, brimming with knowledge, and able to instruct one another.
15 ULB Porém vos escrevi mais ousadamente sobre algumas coisas com o objetivo de lembrar-vos novamente, por causa do dom que foi me dado por Deus, BSB BSB: However, I have written you a bold reminder on some points, because of the grace God has given me
16 ULB para ser um servo de Cristo Jesus enviado aos gentios, para me oferecer como um sacerdote do Evangelho de Deus. Devo fazer isso, então, para que a oferta dos gentios possa tornar-se aceitável, santificada pelo Espírito Santo. BSB BSB: to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
17 ULB Tenho, então, orgulho em Cristo Jesus nas coisas pertinentes a Deus. BSB BSB: Therefore I exult in Christ Jesus in my service to God.
18 ULB Assim, não ousarei falar nada, exceto o que Cristo realizou por meu intermédio para a obediência dos gentios, por palavras e por obras, BSB BSB: I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obedience by word and deed,

BSB BSB: In this way I have aspired to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.

26 ULB Pois a Macedônia e a Acaia tiveram prazer em fazer uma certa contribuição para os pobres dentre os santos em Jerusalém. BSB BSB: For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

BSB BSB: They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual blessings, they are obligated to minister to them with material blessings.

31 ULB Ore para que eu possa ser resgatado daqueles que são desobedientes na Judeia, e que meu serviço por Jerusalém seja aceitável aos santos, BSB BSB: Pray that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service in Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints there,
32 ULB para que possa ir até vós em alegria, pela vontade de Deus, e que possa, juntamente convosco, achar descanso. BSB BSB: so that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and together with you be refreshed.
