2. 2REGNo bhuanga bhulya bhwakolelwe kwo kumenyekana abhwelu, na nichibhulola, no kubhubhambalila, no kubhalasisha obhuanga bhwa kajanende, bhunu bhwaliga ku Lata na nibhukolwa kumenyekana kweswe.BSBBSB: And this is the life that was revealed; we have seen it and testified to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us.

And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
4. 4REGNa echibhandikila emisango jinu emwe koleleki ati obhulosi bhweswe bhukumile.BSBBSB: We write these things so that our joy may be complete.
5. 5REGGunu Nigwo omusango gunu chonguywe okusoka kwaye no kubhalasisha: Nyamuanga ni bhwelu na munda yaye chitalimo chisute na katyali.BSBBSB: And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
6. 6REGAlabha chikaika ati chili no bhusangi nage kenu nichilibhatila mu chisute, chaliga na chitakukola je chimali.BSBBSB: If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7. 7REGMbe nawe chikalibhatila mu bhwelu lwa kutyo ali mu bhwelu, echisangila eswe abhene kwa bhene, na insagama ya Yesu Kristo, eyo mwana waye eichesha okusoka mu bhibhibhi bhyona.BSBBSB: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8. 8REGAlabha chikaika ati chitana bhibhibhi, echijiga-jiga weswe abhene, ne chimali chitachilimo eswe.BSBBSB: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9. 9REGMbe nawe chikata ebhibhibhi bhyeswe, mwenene ni mwiikanyibhwa na mulengelesi okuchiswalilila ebhibhibhi bhyeswe no kuchesha na mabhibhi gona.BSBBSB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10. 10REGChikaika ati chichali kukola bhibhibhi, echimukola mwenene kubha mulimi, no musango gwaye gutachilimo kweswe.BSBBSB: If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
