3ထိုစဉ် လူလေးယောက်ရို့သည် လီဖြတ်သော လူတစ်ယောက်ကို ကိုယ်တော့်အထံတော်ပါးသို့ သယ်ယူလာကြ၏။Then a paralytic was brought to Him, carried by four men.

5ယေသျှုကလည်း ထိုသူရို့၏ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကို မြင်လျှင် လီဖြတ်သောလူအား “ငါ့သား၊ သင်၏အပြစ်ကို ခွင့်ရွှတ်ယာ” ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”

6ထိုအရပ်၌ ထိုင်နိန်ကြသော ကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာအချို့က၊But some of the scribes were sitting there and thinking in their hearts,

7“ဤသူသည် ဇာကြောင့် ဤပိုင် ပြောရသနည်း။ ဤသည်ကား ဘုရားကို ပြစ်မှားခြင်းဖြစ်၏။ ဘုရားသခင် တစ်ပါးတည်းရာ အပြစ်ကို ရွှတ်နိုင်သောသူဖြစ်၏” ဟူ၍ တွေးတောနိန်ကြ၏။“Why does this man speak like this? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

10လူသားသည် ဤလောက၌ အပြစ်ရွှတ်ပိုင်ခွင့် တန်ခိုးအာဏာဟိသည်ကို သင်ရို့သည် တွိ့မြင်ရလိမ့်မည်” ဟု ပြောဆိုပြီးလျှင် လီဖြတ်သောသူအားBut so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...” He said to the paralytic,

11“သင့်အား ငါ ဆိုသည်ကား၊ ထပြီးလျှင် သင်၏ဖျာကို ကောက်၍ အိမ်သို့ ပြန်လော့” ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။“I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”

12ထိုသူသည်လည်း မိမိ၏ဖျာကို ကောက်ပြီးလျှင် လူအပေါင်းရို့ရှိ့မှ ထွက်လားလေ၏။ ထိုအမှုအရာကို တွိ့မြင်သောလူရို့သည် အလွန်တရာအံ့ဩကြပြီး “ဤပိုင် ငါရို့တစ်သက်မှာ တခါမှ မမြင်ဖူးပါ” ဟု ဆိုလျက် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဂုဏ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းကြ၏။And immediately the man got up, picked up his mat, and walked out in front of them all. As a result, they were all astounded and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”

13တဖန်၊ ယေသျှုသည် ဂါလိလဲကမ်းခြီသို့ ကြွတော်မူ၏။ လူအစုအဝေးရို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်ပါးသို့ ရောက်လာကြသဖြင့် ကိုယ်တော်သည် ထိုသူရို့အား ဟောပြောသွန်သင်တော်မူ၏။Once again Jesus went out beside the sea. All the people came to Him, and He taught them there.

14ထိုမှ ကြွတော်မူစဉ် အကောက်ခွန်ရုံး၌ အာလဖဲ၏သား လေဝိထိုင်နိန်သည်ကို မြင်တော်မူလျှင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်က “ငါ့နောက်သို့ လိုက်လော” ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုသူသည် ချက်ချင်းထပြီး ကိုယ်တော်၏ နောက်တော်သို့ လိုက်လေ၏။As He was walking along, He saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth. “Follow Me,” He told him, and Levi got up and followed Him.

15ထို့နောက် ယေသျှုသည် လေဝိ၏အိမ်၌ တပည့်တော်ရို့နှင့်အတူ စားသောက်လျက်နိန်စဉ်၊ အခွန်ခံများနှင့် အပယ်ခံသောသူများသည် လိုက်လာကြသဖြင့် တပည့်တော်ရို့နှင့်အတူ ဝင်ရောက်စားသောက်ကြ၏။While Jesus was dining at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with Him and His disciples—for there were many who followed Him.

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

So people came to Jesus and asked, “Why don’t Your disciples fast like John’s disciples and those of the Pharisees?”

19ယေသျှုကလည်း၊ “မင်္ဂလာဆောင်သတို့သား၏ အပေါင်းအပါရို့သည် မင်္ဂလာပွဲ၌ သတို့သားနှင့်အတူ ဟိနိန်ကြသောအခါ၊ ယင်းသူရို့ အစာယှောင်နိန်ကြသလော။ သတို့သားနှင့်အတူ ဟိသောအချိန်ကာလပတ်လုံး သူရို့သည် အစာမယှောင်တတ်ကြ။Jesus replied, “How can the guests of the bridegroom fast while He is with them? As long as He is with them, they cannot fast.

20သို့သော် သတို့သားကို ထိုသူရို့ပါးက ခွဲယူလားသောနိ့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်၊ သို့ပြီးမှသာ သူရို့သည် အစာယှောင်ကြလိမ့်မည်။But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.

21“ပိတ်စအသစ်ဖြင့် အထည်ဟောင်းကို ဇာသူမျှ ဖာသားမချ။ ထိုသို့ ဖာသားချသော်လည်း ပိတ်စအသစ်သည် ရုန်း၍ ပိုပြီး စုတ်ပြဲလိမ့်မည်။No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the new piece will pull away from the old, and a worse tear will result.

22ယင်းနည်းတူ သားရီဘူးအဟောင်းထဲ၌ အသစ်သောစပျစ်ရည်ကို ထည့်လေ့မဟိ၊ ထိုသို့ထည့်သော် စပျစ်ရည်အသစ်ကြောင့် သားရီဘူးသည် ပေါက်ကွဲတတ်သည်ဖြစ်၍ နှစ်ခုစလုံး ပျက်စီးလိမ့်မည်။ ယင်းကြောင့် စပျစ်ရည်အသစ်ကို သားရီဘူးအသစ်၌ရာ ထည့်ရမည်” ဟု ထိုသူရို့အား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, new wine is poured into new wineskins.”

23ဥပုသ်နိ့၌ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဂျုံခင်းကို ဖြတ်၍လားစဉ်၊ တပည့်တော်ရို့သည် ဂျုံနှံများကို ခြွီယူကြ၏။One Sabbath Jesus was passing through the grainfields, and His disciples began to pick the heads of grain as they walked along.

24ထိုအခါ ဖာရိယှဲရို့က “ကြည့်ပါ၊ ငါရို့၏ပညတ်ကျမ်းအရ ဥပုသ်နိ့၌ မပြုအပ်သောအမှုတိကို သူရို့က ဇာကြောင့် ပြုကြသနည်း” ဟု ကိုယ်တော့်ကို မိန်းလျှောက်ကြ၏။So the Pharisees said to Him, “Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?”

25ယေသျှုကလည်း “ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်း အဗျာသာလက်ထက်၌ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ဝမ်းဆာနိန်သောအချိန်တွင် မိမိအဖော်တိနှင့်အတူ၊Jesus replied, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need?

26ဘုရားသခင်၏ အိမ်တော်သို့ ဝင်ပြီးလျှင် အကျွန်ရို့၏ပညတ်ကျမ်းအရ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တိမှတစ်ပါး ဇာသူမျှ မစားအပ်သော ရှိ့တော်မုန့်ကို စားပြီး — မိမိ၏အဖော်ရို့ကိုလည်း ပီးကြောင်းကို ကျမ်းစာထဲ၌ မဖတ်ဖူးကြသလော” ဟု မိန်းတော်မူ၏။During the high priesthood of Abiathar, he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which was lawful only for the priests. And he gave some to his companions as well.”

27ထို့နောက် ကိုယ်တော်က “ဥပုသ်နိ့အဖို့ လူကို ဖန်ဆင်းထားသည် မဟုတ်။ လူ့အဖို့ရာ ဥပုသ်နိ့ကို သတ်မှတ်ထားခြင်းဖြစ်၏။Then Jesus declared, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

28ယင်းကြောင့် လူသားသည် ဥပုသ်နိ့၏ အသျှင်သခင် ဖြစ်၏” ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။Therefore, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
