4 RHB Мэ дрыва́н лошало́ тэ шуна́в кай мирэ́ чаворэ́ пхирэ́н до чачибэ́н. BSB BSB: I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
5 RHB Дро́го миро́, тыри́ буты́ бари́, ту куч кэрэ́с ва́шэ пшалэ́нгэ и авирэ́ манушэ́нгэ. BSB BSB: Beloved, you are faithful in what you are doing for the brothers, and especially since they are strangers to you.
6 RHB Ёнэ́ роспхэндэ́ дэ кхангири́ пал тыро́ камлыпэ́н. Ту куч кэрэ́са сыр пролыджя́са лэн до дро́м сыр трэ́би Дэвлэ́стыр. BSB BSB: They have testified to the church about your love. You will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God.
7 RHB Пал одова, со ёнэ́ ґинэ́ ваш Дэвлэ́ско Лав и нисо́ на лынэ́ чюжонэ́ манушэ́ндыр. BSB BSB: For they went out on behalf of the Name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles.
8 RHB И дасавэ́н амэ́ трэ́би тэ прыла́с, соб тэ ава́с лэ́нса дэ ек Дэвлэ́ски буты́ до чачибэ́н. BSB BSB: Therefore we ought to support such men, so that we may be fellow workers for the truth.
9 RHB Мэ чиндём лыл кхангиря́кэ, нэ Диотре́фо саво́ камэ́л саро́ тэ рикирэ́л дэ пэ́скирэ васта́, на прылэ́л амэ́н. BSB BSB: I have written to the church about this, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not accept our instruction.
10 RHB Пал одова́, сыр мэ ява́ва, мэ зрипира́ва лэ́скэ, со ёв кэрэ́л и со ёв пэ амэ́ндэ пхэнэл на́лаче лава. Лэ́скэ адава́ нафтылэ́л так ёв кокоро́ на прылэ́л пшалэ́н, савэ́н амэ́ бичявдя́м и одолэ́нгэ кон камэ́л лэн тэ прылэ́л запхэнэ́л, а кон прылэ́л лэн ёв вытрадэ́л кхангиря́тыр. BSB BSB: So if I come, I will call attention to his malicious slander against us. And unsatisfied with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers and forbids those who want to do so, even putting them out of the church.
11 RHB Миро́ дро́го! На дыкх пэ да́савэндэ манушэ́ндэ, савэ́ кэрэ́н на́лачипэн и на кэр адя́кэ, а кэр лачипэ́н. Кон кэрэ́л лачипэ́н— одова́ Дэвлэ́стыр, а кон кэрэ́л на лаче́ рынды— одова́ на дыкхья́ Дэвлэ́с. BSB BSB: Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.
