1Ай дэнзор андо курко жувля линэ гытосардэ мастина и жыле кав склэпо.On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women came to the tomb, bringing the spices they had prepared.

2Онэ дикхле, со бар сас отшуто лэ склэпостар.They found the stone rolled away from the tomb,

3Кала зажыле, онэ на аракхле тило лэ Раеско Исусоско.but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

4Онэ на полэнас, со тердяпэ, и акэ, сикадэпэ лэнди дуй мурша андэ йида, сави свэтосавэлас, сар молния.While they were puzzling over this, suddenly two men in radiant apparel stood beside them.

5Даратар жувля обмэкле пэстирэ муя тэлэ, нэ кола пхэндэ лэнди: — Со тумэ родэн жундэс машкар мулэ?As the women bowed their faces to the ground in terror, the two men asked them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?

6Лэс катэ нинай, Вов жундиля! Тумэ сэрэн, со Вов пхэнэлас тумэнди, кала сас инке андэ Галилея:He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you while He was still in Galilee:

7«Шавэс Манушыканэс трэбуй сас тэ отдэн андэ васта бэзэхалэ манушэнди, тэ примарэн кав трушул. Нэ по трито дес Вов жундёла».‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.’”

8Тунчи онэ сэрдэ Лэстирэ лава.Then they remembered His words.

9Онэ рисайле лэ склэпостар и роспхэндэ пала вся када дэшуекхэ апостолонэнди и аврэнди, ко сас лэнца.And when they returned from the tomb, they reported all these things to the Eleven and to all the others.

10Када сас Мария Магдалина, Иоана, дэй Иаковостири, савя кадя ж акхарэнас Мария и авэр жувля, савэ сас лэнца. Онэ роспхэндэ вся када апостолонэнди,It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them who told this to the apostles.

11нэ апостолоря на патяйле лэнди. Лэнди сикадяпэ, со када качи шушэ лава.But their words seemed like nonsense to them, and they did not believe the women.

12Ай Пэтро вщиля и прастая кав склэпо. Вов тэлиля и задикхля андрэ, нэ удикхля качи материя. Вов рисайля пэстэ, дивосайля всаворэсти, со тердяпэ.Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. And after bending down and seeing only the linen cloths, he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.

13Андэ кодва ж дес дуй андай сытярнэ жанас андо гав Эмаусо, саво сас варикай дэшудуй километроря лэ Иерусалимостар.That same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem.

14Онэ дэнас дума машкар пэстэ пала вся, со тердяпэ.They were talking with each other about everything that had happened.

15И кала онэ дэнас дума и роспушэнас екх екхэстар, Ежэно Исусо поджыля и жыля лэнца.And as they talked and deliberated, Jesus Himself came up and walked along with them.

16Нэ лэндирэ якха сас затердэ, и вонэ на ужангле Лэс.But their eyes were kept from recognizing Him.

17Исусо пушля лэндар: — Пала со када тумэ дэн дума машкар пэстэ, сар жан пав дром? Онэ тэрдиле, и муя лэндэ сас грыжомэ.He asked them, “What are you discussing so intently as you walk along?” They stood still, with sadness on their faces.

18Екх лэндар, савэс акхарэнас Клеопа, пхэндя: — Ту, душол, авилян андо Иерусалимо и екх, саво на жанэл пала кода, со тердяпэ андэ кала деса?One of them, named Cleopas, asked Him, “Are You the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in recent days?”

19— Пала со? — пушля Иисусо. — Со тердяпэ Исусоса андав Назарето, — пхэндэ онэ. — Вов сас пророкоса, зорало англав Дэл и англай всаворэ мануша андэ лава и рындоря.“What things?” He asked. “The events involving Jesus of Nazareth,” they answered. “This man was a prophet, powerful in speech and action before God and all the people.

20Амарэ барэ рашая и пхурэдэра сындосардэ Лэс по миримос и примардэ кав трушул.Our chief priests and rulers delivered Him up to the sentence of death, and they crucified Him.

21Ай амэ ажутярасас, со Вов исин Кодва, Саво трэбуй сас тэ фэрисарэл лэ Израилёс. Нэ акэ, трито дес, сар вся када тердяпэ.But we were hoping He was the One who would redeem Israel. And besides all this, it is the third day since these things took place.

22Нэ коисавэ андай амарэ жувля дивосардэ амэн: онэ жыле дэнзор кав склэпоFurthermore, some of our women astounded us. They were at the tomb early this morning,

23и на аракхле котэ Лэско тило, рисайле и роспхэндэ амэнди, со онэ дикхле ангелон, савэ пхэндэ, кай Вов жундо.but they did not find His body. They came and told us they had seen a vision of angels, who said that Jesus was alive.

24Тунчи коисавэ андар амарэ жыле кав склэпо и удикхле котэ вся, сар роспхэндэ жувля, но Лэс онэ на дикхле.Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had described. But Him they did not see.”

25Вов пхэндя лэнди: — Савэ тумэ бигодятирэ и сар тумэ найсыго патян всаворэсти, со пхэнэнас пророкоря!Then Jesus said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!

26Чи на трэбуй сас лэ Христости тэ грыжолпэ и тэ зажал андэ Пэстири слава?Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and then to enter His glory?”

27И ля лэ Моисеёстар и всаворэ пророконэндар тэ роспхэнэл лэнди, со пхэнэласпэ пала Лэстэ андэ всаворо Пистросаримос.And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was written in all the Scriptures about Himself.

28Кала онэ поджыле гавэстэ, каринг онэ жанас, Исусо сикадя, кай камэл тэ жал майдур,As they approached the village where they were headed, He seemed to be going farther.

29нэ онэ фартэ мангэнас Лэс: — Ашпэ амэнца. Поджал рят, дес прожыля. И Вов зажыля андо чер и ашыляпэ лэнца.But they pleaded with Him, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening and the day is almost over.” So He went in to stay with them.

30Кала Исусо бэшэлас лэнца палай мэсали, Вов ля марно, наисардя Дэвлэс, пэрэпхагля и дя лэнди.While He was reclining at the table with them, He took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to them.

31Тунчи лэндирэ якха отпхэрнадэпэ, и онэ гатярдэ Лэс. Нэ Вов ашыля важ лэнди надикхло.Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus—and He disappeared from their sight.

32Онэ линэ тэ пхэнэн екх екхэсти: — Чи на пхабонас андэ амэндэ водя, кала Вов дэлас дума амэнца пав дром и отпхэрнавэлас амэнди Пистросаримос?They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us as He spoke with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”

33Андэ кодья ж вряма онэ вщиле и жыле палпалэ андо Иерусалимо. Котэ онэ аракхле дэшуекх апостолон и колэн, ко сас лэнца.And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, gathered together

34Кола пхэндэ лэнди, со о Рай чячес жундиля и сикадиля лэ Симоности.and saying, “The Lord has indeed risen and has appeared to Simon!”

35Тунчи кала дуй роспхэндэ вся, со сас лэнца пав дром, сар онэ ужангле Исусос, кала Вов пхагэлас о марно.Then the two told what had happened on the road, and how they had recognized Jesus in the breaking of the bread.

36Онэ инке дэнас дума, сар Ежэно Исусо ашыля машкар лэндэ и пхэндя: — Миро тумэнди!While they were describing these events, Jesus Himself stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”

37Онэ замуле даратар, гындонас, со дикхэн духос.But they were startled and frightened, thinking they had seen a spirit.

38Вов пхэндя лэнди: — Состар тумэ даран? Состар тумэ на састэс патян?“Why are you troubled,” Jesus asked, “and why do doubts arise in your hearts?

39Подикхэн пэ Мэрнэ васта и пэрнэ. Када ж Мэ! Лэнпэ Мандэ и роздикхэн. Кав духо нинай тило и кокаля, ай Мандэ, сар дикхэн, исин.Look at My hands and My feet. It is I Myself. Touch Me and see—for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

40Вов пхэндя када и сикадя лэнди Пэстирэ васта и пэрнэ.And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and feet.

41Нэ онэ лошатар инке на патянас и дивосавэнас. Тунчи Исусо пушля лэндар: — Тумэндэ катэ исин варисо тэ хан?While they were still in disbelief because of their joy and amazement, He asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”

42Онэ подинэ Лэсти котор пэко мащё.So they gave Him a piece of broiled fish,

43Вов ля и халас англай лэндэ.and He took it and ate it in front of them.

44— Пала када Мэ пхэнавас тумэнди, кала сымас инке тумэнца, — пхэндя Вов. — Вся, со запистросардо пала Мандэ андо Законо Моисеёско, кай пророкоря и андэ псалморя трэбуй тэ терэлпэ.Jesus said to them, “These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms.”

45Тунчи Вов лэнди отпхэрнадя годи, кай онэ тэ полэн Пистросаримос.Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.

46— Пистросардо, со сас лэ Христости тэ грыжолпэ и по трито дес тэ жундёл андай мулэ, — пхэндя Вов.And He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,

47— Важ Алав Лэско всаворэнди манушэнди, майанглал Иерусалимостар, тунчи пай всаворэ пхувья, авэла роспхэндо, кай онэ тэ каисавэн и тунчи простисарэнапэ лэндирэ бэзэха.and in His name repentance and forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem.

48Тумэ авэна пала вся када тэ роспхэнэн.You are witnesses of these things.

49Акэ, Мэ бишалава тумэнди кода, пала со дя лав Мэрно Дад, нэ тумэ ашэнпэ андо форо Иерусалимо, жы кала прилэна зор упралимастар.And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you. But remain in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”

50Тунчи Вов выандярдя лэн андав форо кай Вифания, вазгля васта и бахталисардя лэн.When Jesus had led them out as far as Bethany, He lifted up His hands and blessed them.

51Андэ кодья вряма, кала Вов бахталисарэлас лэн, Вов ля тэ отжал лэндар и тэ ваздёл по болыбэн.While He was blessing them, He left them and was carried up into heaven.

52Сытярнэ тэлинэ Лэсти и баря лошаса рисайле андо Иерусалимо.And they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,

53Онэ сас всавори вряма андо храмо и лашарэнас лэ Дэвлэс.praising God continually in the temple.
