32 GLT And Jonathan, the uncle of David, an advisor, a man of understanding and a scribe, was he. And Jehiel the son of Hakmoni was with the sons of the king. BSB BSB: David’s uncle Jonathan was a counselor; he was a man of insight and a scribe. Jehiel son of Hachmoni attended to the sons of the king.
33 GLT And Ahithophel, an advisor to the king, and Hushai the Arkite, friend to the king. BSB BSB: Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.
34 GLT And after Ahithophel, Jehoiada the son of Benaiah and Abiathar. And the chief of the army of the king, Joab. BSB BSB: Ahithophel was succeeded by Jehoiada son of Benaiah, then by Abiathar. Joab was the commander of the king’s army.
