4 GLT instead, we commend ourselves in everything as servants of God; in much endurance, in tribulations, in hardships, in distresses, BSB BSB: Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships, and calamities;

9 GLT as being unknown, yet being well known; as dying yet— behold!— living; as being disciplined, yet not being put to death; BSB BSB: unknown, yet well-known; dying, and yet we live on; punished, yet not killed;

13 GLT and{ in} the same exchange— I speak as to children— open yourselves wide also. BSB BSB: As a fair exchange—I speak as to my children—open wide your hearts also.
14 GLT Do not be yoked together with unbelievers, for what partnership{ does} righteousness and lawlessness{ have}? Or what fellowship{ does} light{ have} with darkness? BSB BSB: Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
15 GLT And what harmony{ does} Christ{ have} with Beliar? Or what share{ does} a believer{ have} with an unbeliever? BSB BSB: What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
16 GLT And what agreement{ does} the temple of God{ have} with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said:“I will dwell among them, and walk{ among them}; and I will be their God, and they themselves will be my people.” BSB BSB: What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.”
17 GLT Therefore,“Come out from the midst of them, and be separate,” says the Lord,“and touch no unclean thing,” and“I will welcome you.” BSB BSB: “Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
18 GLT And“I will be to you as a Father, and you will be to me as sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty. BSB BSB: And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
