1 GLT Услышали же Апостолы и братья, находящиеся в Иудее, что и язычники приняли Слово Божье. BSB BSB: The apostles and brothers throughout Judea soon heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
2 GLT И когда Пётр восшёл в Иерусалим, те, кто из обрезанных, стали спорить с ним: BSB BSB: So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers took issue with him
3 GLT говоря, что:“Ты вошёл к людям необрезанным и ел с ними”. BSB BSB: and said, “You visited uncircumcised men and ate with them.”
4 GLT Пётр же, начав по порядку, стал излагать им, говоря: BSB BSB: But Peter began and explained to them the whole sequence of events:
5 GLT “Я молился в городе Иоппия и увидел в исступлении видение: опускающийся некий предмет, словно большое полотнище, за четыре угла спускаемое с неба, и оно дошло до меня. BSB BSB: “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision of something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came right down to me.
6 GLT Вглядевшись в него, я рассматривал и увидел земных четвероногих, и зверей, и пресмыкающихся, и птиц небесных. BSB BSB: I looked at it closely and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air.
7 GLT А также услышал голос, говорящий мне:" Встань, Пётр, зарежь и ешь". BSB BSB: Then I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Get up, Peter, kill and eat.’
8 GLT Я же сказал:" Никоим образом, Господь, ведь никогда осквернённое или нечистое не входило в уста мои". BSB BSB: ‘No, Lord,’ I said, ‘for nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’
9 GLT Тогда ответил голос с неба во второй раз:" Что очистил Бог, ты не называй нечистым". BSB BSB: But the voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’
10 GLT Это же было три раза, и всё поднялось опять на небо. BSB BSB: This happened three times, and everything was drawn back up into heaven.
11 GLT И вот, сразу к дому, в котором я был, подошли три человека, посланных из Кесарии ко мне. BSB BSB: Just then three men sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.
12 GLT И сказал мне Дух пойти с ними ни в чём не сомневаясь. Пошли же со мной и эти шесть братьев, и мы вошли в дом того человека. BSB BSB: The Spirit told me to accompany them without hesitation. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s home.
14 GLT Он скажет тебе слова, которыми спасёшься ты и весь дом твой". BSB BSB: He will convey to you a message by which you and all your household will be saved.’
15 GLT Когда же я начал говорить, сошёл Дух Святой на них, как и на нас в начале. BSB BSB: As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, just as He had fallen upon us at the beginning.
16 GLT Тогда вспомнилось мне слово Господа, как Он говорил:" Иоанн крестил водой, а вы будете крещены Духом Святым". BSB BSB: Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
17 GLT Итак, раз Бог дал им такой же дар, как и нам, поверившим в Господа Иисуса Христа, кто был я, чтобы препятствовать Богу?” BSB BSB: So if God gave them the same gift He gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder the work of God?”
18 GLT Услышав же это, они утихли и прославили Бога, говоря:“Значит и язычникам Бог дал покаяние в жизнь”. BSB BSB: When they heard this, they had no further objections, and they glorified God, saying, “So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.”
19 GLT Между тем, рассеявшиеся из- за гонения, произошедшего из- за Стефана, прошли до Финикии, и Кипра, и Антиохии, никому не говоря Слова, кроме одних иудеев. BSB BSB: Meanwhile those scattered by the persecution that began with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message only to Jews.
21 GLT И была с ними рука Господа, и большое число, поверив, обратилось к Господу. BSB BSB: The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
22 GLT Слово же об этом было услышано в уши церкви, находившейся в Иерусалиме, и они отправили Варнаву в Антиохию. BSB BSB: When news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, they sent Barnabas to Antioch.
23 GLT Он, прибыв и увидев благодать Бога, обрадовался и убеждал всех в сердечных намерениях держаться Господа, BSB BSB: When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to abide in the Lord with all their hearts.
24 GLT потому что он был человеком добрым и наполненным Духом Святым и верой. И множество людей присоединилось к Господу. BSB BSB: Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.
25 GLT Он же пошёл в Тарс разыскать Савла BSB BSB: Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
26 GLT и, найдя, привёл в Антиохию. И было у них так— целый год собирались в церкви и учили много народа. В Антиохии же впервые ученики стали называться" христиане". BSB BSB: and when he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. So for a full year they met together with the church and taught large numbers of people. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.
27 GLT В те же дни пришли из Иерусалима в Антиохию пророки. BSB BSB: In those days some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
28 GLT И встав, один из них, по имени Агав, известил Духом, что во всех странах будет великий голод, который и наступил при Клавдии. BSB BSB: One of them named Agabus stood up and predicted through the Spirit that a great famine would sweep across the whole world. (This happened under Claudius.)
29 GLT Определили же от учеников,(кто как располагал), от каждого из них послать для вспоможения братьям, проживающим в Иудее. BSB BSB: So the disciples, each according to his ability, decided to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.
30 GLT Что и сделали, послав к пресвитерам при помощи Варнавы и Савла. BSB BSB: This they did, sending their gifts to the elders with Barnabas and Saul.
