3 GLT And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill and with understanding and with knowledge and with all kinds of craftsmanship BSB BSB: And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of craftsmanship,
4 GLT to design designs, to work in gold and in silver and in bronze BSB BSB: to design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze,
5 GLT and in carving of precious stones for setting and in carving of wood, to do all kinds of craftsmanship. BSB BSB: to cut gemstones for settings, and to carve wood, so that he may be a master of every craft.
6 GLT And behold, I have given with him Oholiab son of Ahisamak, from the tribe of Dan. And I have put skill into the hearts of all of the skilled of heart, and they shall make all that I have commanded you: BSB BSB: Moreover, I have selected Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, as his assistant. I have also given skill to all the craftsmen, that they may fashion all that I have commanded you:
7 GLT the tent of meeting and the Box of the Testimony, and the atonement lid that is on it and all of the furniture of the tent, BSB BSB: the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the Testimony and the mercy seat upon it, and all the other furnishings of the tent—
8 GLT the table and its utensils and the pure lampstand and all its equipment and the altar of incense BSB BSB: the table with its utensils, the pure gold lampstand with all its utensils, the altar of incense,
9 GLT and the altar of burnt offerings and all its equipment and the basin and its base BSB BSB: the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin with its stand—
10 GLT and the finely woven clothing and the clothing of holiness for Aaron the priest and the clothing of his sons to{ be} priests BSB BSB: as well as the woven garments, both the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons to serve as priests,
11 GLT and the oil of anointing and the incense of fragrance for the sanctuary. They shall make according to all that I have commanded you.” BSB BSB: in addition to the anointing oil and fragrant incense for the Holy Place. They are to make them according to all that I have commanded you.”
12 GLT And Yahweh said to Moses, saying, BSB BSB: And the LORD said to Moses,
13 GLT “And you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying:‘Surely you shall keep my Sabbaths, for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations so that you may know that I am Yahweh, who sets you apart. BSB BSB: “Tell the Israelites, ‘Surely you must keep My Sabbaths, for this will be a sign between Me and you for the generations to come, so that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.
14 GLT And you shall keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you.’ The profaner of it shall surely be put to death, for every worker of work on it, that person shall be cut off from his people. BSB BSB: Keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Anyone who profanes it must surely be put to death. Whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from among his people.
15 GLT Work shall be done six days, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of Sabbath, holy to Yahweh. Every worker of work on the Sabbath day shall surely be put to death. BSB BSB: For six days work may be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must surely be put to death.
16 GLT And the sons of Israel shall keep the Sabbath to celebrate the Sabbath throughout their generations. A covenant of eternity BSB BSB: The Israelites must keep the Sabbath, celebrating it as a permanent covenant for the generations to come.
17 GLT is between me and the sons of Israel. It is a sign forever, for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.” BSB BSB: It is a sign between Me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, but on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”
18 GLT And as he finished speaking with him on the mountain of Sinai, he gave to Moses the two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God. BSB BSB: When the LORD had finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, He gave him the two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.
