1 GLT И по завершении всего этого подошли ко мне правители, говоря:" Не отделился народ, Израиль, и священники, и левиты, от народов стран с их мерзостями: от хананеев, хеттеев, ферезеев, иевусеев, аммонитян, моавитян, египтян и аморреев, BSB BSB: After these things had been accomplished, the leaders approached me and said, “The people of Israel, including the priests and Levites, have not kept themselves separate from the surrounding peoples whose abominations are like those of the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians, and Amorites.
2 GLT потому что они взяли в жёны некоторых из их дочерей себе и своим сыновьям, и смешалось святое семя с народами стран, и руки правителей и начальников были первыми в этой неверности. BSB BSB: Indeed, the Israelites have taken some of their daughters as wives for themselves and their sons, so that the holy seed has been mixed with the people of the land. And the leaders and officials have taken the lead in this unfaithfulness!”
3 GLT И услышав это слово, я разорвал свою одежду и мантию, и рвал волосы своей головы и своей бороды, и сидел разбитый. BSB BSB: When I heard this report, I tore my tunic and cloak, pulled out some hair from my head and beard, and sat down in horror.
4 GLT И ко мне собрались все трепещущие от слов Бога Израиля из- за неверности переселенцев, и я сидел разбитый до вечернего жертвоприношения. BSB BSB: Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel gathered around me because of the unfaithfulness of the exiles, while I sat there in horror until the evening offering.
5 GLT А на вечернем жертвоприношении я встал от моего поста, и в порванной одежде и мантии, и опустился на мои колени, и протянул мои руки к Яхве, моему Богу, BSB BSB: At the evening offering, I got up from my humiliation with my tunic and cloak torn, and I fell on my knees, spread out my hands to the LORD my God,
6 GLT и сказал:" Бог мой! Мне стыдно и позорно поднимать, Бог мой, лицо моё к Тебе, ведь наши грехи умножились выше головы, и наша вина возросла до неба. BSB BSB: and said: “O my God, I am ashamed and embarrassed to lift up my face to You, my God, because our iniquities are higher than our heads, and our guilt has reached the heavens.
7 GLT От дней наших отцов мы в огромной вине, до этого дня, и за наши грехи отданы мы— наши цари, наши священники— в руку царей стран, мечу, плену, грабежу и позору лица, как в этот день. BSB BSB: From the days of our fathers to this day, our guilt has been great. Because of our iniquities, we and our kings and priests have been delivered into the hands of the kings of the earth and subjected to the sword and to captivity, to pillage and humiliation, as we are this day.
8 GLT И теперь короткое мгновение была милость от Яхве, нашего Бога, чтобы оставить нам спасшихся и дать нам прочный кол в Его святом месте, чтобы наш Бог просветил наши глаза и дал нам ожить немного в нашем рабстве. BSB BSB: But now, for a brief moment, grace has come from the LORD our God to preserve for us a remnant and to give us a stake in His holy place. Even in our bondage, our God has given us new life and light to our eyes.
9 GLT Ведь мы рабы, и в нашем рабстве не оставил нас Бог наш, и Он простёр к нам верную любовь перед лицом царей Персии, чтобы дать нам ожить, чтобы мы возвели дом нашего Бога и подняли его развалины, и чтобы дать нам надёжную стену в Иудее и в Иерусалиме. BSB BSB: Though we are slaves, our God has not forsaken us in our bondage, but He has extended to us grace in the sight of the kings of Persia, giving us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins, and giving us a wall of protection in Judah and Jerusalem.
10 GLT А теперь что мы скажем, Бог наш, после этого? Ведь мы оставили Твои заповеди, BSB BSB: And now, our God, what can we say after this? For we have forsaken the commandments
11 GLT которые Ты заповедал через Твоих рабов пророков, говоря:' Земля, в которую вы идёте, чтобы завладеть ей,— она земля нечистая нечистотой народов стран, их мерзостями, которыми они заполнили её от края до края в своей нечистоте. BSB BSB: that You gave through Your servants the prophets, saying: ‘The land that you are entering to possess is a land polluted by the impurity of its peoples and the abominations with which they have filled it from end to end.
12 GLT И теперь ваших дочерей не выдавайте за их сыновей, и их дочерей не берите вашим сыновьям, и не ищите их мира и их добра вовеки, чтобы вы укреплялись и ели добро этой земли и оставили её в наследство вашим сыновьям вовеки'. BSB BSB: Now, therefore, do not give your daughters in marriage to their sons or take their daughters for your sons. Never seek their peace or prosperity, so that you may be strong and may eat the good things of the land, leaving it as an inheritance to your sons forever.’
13 GLT И после всего пришедшего на нас за наши злые дела и за нашу великую вину,— ведь Ты, Бог наш, наказал нас меньше, чем наш грех, и дал нам такое избавление,— BSB BSB: After all that has come upon us because of our evil deeds and our great guilt (though You, our God, have punished us less than our iniquities deserve and have given us such a remnant as this),
14 GLT разве мы снова станем нарушать Твои заповеди и вступать в родство с народами этих мерзостей? Разве Ты не прогневаешься на нас так, что истребишь нас, и не будет остатка и уцелевших? BSB BSB: shall we again break Your commandments and intermarry with the peoples who commit these abominations? Would You not become so angry with us as to wipe us out, leaving no remnant or survivor?
15 GLT Яхве, Бог Израиля! Ты праведен, потому что мы остались уцелевшими, как в этот день. Вот мы перед Твоим лицом в нашей вине, хотя невозможно стоять перед Твоим лицом из- за этого". BSB BSB: O LORD, God of Israel, You are righteous! For we remain this day as a remnant. Here we are before You in our guilt, though because of it no one can stand before You.”
