GLT But the serpent said to the woman,“You will not surely die. BSB BSB: “You will not surely die,” the serpent told the woman.
GLT For God knows that on the day you eat from it, then your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God in knowing good and evil.” BSB BSB: “For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

GLT And he said,“I heard your sound in the garden, but I was afraid because I{ was} naked, so I hid.” BSB BSB: “I heard Your voice in the garden,” he replied, “and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.”
GLT Then he said,“Who told you that you{ were} naked? Did you eat from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” BSB BSB: “Who told you that you were naked?” asked the LORD God. “Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?”

GLT Then Yahweh God said to the woman,“What{ is} this you have done?” And the woman said,“The serpent deceived me, so I ate{ it}.” BSB BSB: Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” “The serpent deceived me,” she replied, “and I ate.”
GLT Then Yahweh God said to the serpent,“Because you have done this, you are cursed above all the livestock and above every living thing of the field. You will move on your belly, and you will eat dust all the days of your life. BSB BSB: So the LORD God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and every beast of the field! On your belly will you go, and dust you will eat, all the days of your life.
GLT I will also put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike you{ on} the head, and you will strike him{ on} the heel.” BSB BSB: And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
GLT To the woman he said,“I will greatly multiply your pain and your childbearing; in pain you will bear children. Yet your desire{ will be} for your husband, and he will rule over you.” BSB BSB: To the woman He said: “I will sharply increase your pain in childbirth; in pain you will bring forth children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”
GLT And it will produce thorn{ s} and thistle{ s} for you, and you will eat the plant{ s} of the field{ s}. BSB BSB: Both thorns and thistles it will yield for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.
