Psalm 126 126 Psalms Book 5 Russian Literal Text 1 GLT A Song of Ascents When Yahweh restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream. BSB BSB: A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the captives of Zion, we were like dreamers.
2 GLT Then our mouths were filled with laughter and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations,“Yahweh has done great things for them.” BSB BSB: Then our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with shouts of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”
3 GLT Yahweh did great things for us; how glad we were! BSB BSB: The LORD has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.
4 GLT Restore our fortunes, Yahweh, like the streams in the Negev. BSB BSB: Restore our captives, O LORD, like streams in the Negev.
5 GLT Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy. BSB BSB: Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.
6 GLT He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will return again with shouts of joy, bringing his bundles of grain with him. BSB BSB: He who goes out weeping, bearing a trail of seed, will surely return with shouts of joy, carrying sheaves of grain.
