Psalm 43 43 Psalms Book 2 Russian Literal Text 1 GLT Declare me righteous, O God, and defend my case against a nation that is not faithful. Deliver me from a deceitful and evil man. BSB BSB: Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; deliver me from deceitful and unjust men.
GLT For you are the God of my fortification. Why have you rejected me? Why do I walk around mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? BSB BSB: For You are the God of my refuge. Why have You rejected me? Why must I walk in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression?
GLT Send out your light and your truth, let them lead me. Let them bring me to your holy mountain and to your dwelling place. BSB BSB: Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your holy mountain and to the place where You dwell.
GLT I will go to the altar of God, to the God of the joy of my gladness. I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God. BSB BSB: Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my greatest joy. I will praise You with the harp, O God, my God.
GLT Why are you bowed down, O my soul? And why are you upset within me? Hope in God, for again I will give him thanks, the salvation of my face is my God. BSB BSB: Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.
