2 GLT Hear my prayer, God; give ear to the words of my mouth. BSB BSB: Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.
3 GLT For strangers have risen up against me, and pitiless men have sought after my life; they have not set God before them. Selah BSB BSB: For strangers rise up against me, and ruthless men seek my life—men with no regard for God. Selah
4 GLT See, God is my helper; the Lord is the one who upholds me. BSB BSB: Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul.
5 GLT He will repay my enemies with evil; in your faithfulness, destroy them! BSB BSB: He will reward my enemies with evil. In Your faithfulness, destroy them.
6 GLT I will sacrifice to you with a freewill offering; I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good. BSB BSB: Freely I will sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good.
7 GLT For he has rescued me from every trouble; my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies. BSB BSB: For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.
