The following is the list of the men who performed this service:

3От Идифуна шесть его сыновей: Гедалия, Цери, Исаия, Семей, Хашавия и Маттафия— под руководством своего отца Идифуна, игравшего на цитре во славу и хвалу Господу.From the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six in all—under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp, giving thanks and praise to the LORD.

4От Емана сыновья Емана: Буккия, Матфания, Озиил, Шевуил, Иеримоф, Ханания, Ханани, Елиафа, Гиддалти, Ромамти-Езер, Иошбекаша, Маллофи, Гофир и Махазиоф.From the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

5Все сыновья царского пророка Емана, по Божьим словам, чтобы возвышать его славу. Бог дал Еману четырнадцать сыновей и трёх дочерей.All these sons of Heman the king’s seer were given him through the promises of God to exalt him, for God had given Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6Они пели в доме Господа с кимвалами, псалтирями и цитрами под руководством отца, служа в Божьем доме по указанию царя, или Асафа, Идифуна и Емана.All these were under the direction of their fathers for the music of the house of the LORD with cymbals, harps, and lyres, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the direction of the king.

7Их было с братьями, обученными петь перед Господом, знающих это дело, двести восемьдесят восемь человек.Together with their relatives, who were all trained and skillful in the songs of the LORD, they numbered 288.

8Они бросили жребий об очерёдности служения, младший наравне со старшим, учителя наравне с учениками.They cast lots for their duties, young and old alike, teacher as well as pupil.

9Первый жребий вышел Асафу для Иосифа. Второй— Гедалии с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.The first lot, which was for Asaph, fell to Joseph, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all; the second to Gedaliah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

10Третий— Заккуру с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.the third to Zaccur, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

11Четвёртый— Ицрию с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.the fourth to Izri, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

12Пятый— Нефании с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

13Шестой— Буккии с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

14Седьмой— Иесареле с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.the seventh to Jesarelah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

20Тринадцатый— Шуваилу с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.the thirteenth to Shubael, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

21Четырнадцатый— Маттафии с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.the fourteenth to Mattithiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

22Пятнадцатый— Иеримофу с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

23Шестнадцатый— Ханании с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

24Семнадцатый— Иошбекаше с его сыновьями и братьями, их было двенадцать.the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
