1Давид собрал в Иерусалиме всех правителей Израиля: начальников колен и начальников отделов, служивших царю, начальников над тысячами и начальников над сотнями и тех, кто отвечал за всё имущество и за стада, которые принадлежали царю и его сыновьям с евнухами, а также за военачальников и всех храбрых мужчин.Now David summoned all the leaders of Israel to Jerusalem: the leaders of the tribes, the leaders of the divisions in the king’s service, the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and the officials in charge of all the property and cattle of the king and his sons, along with the court officials and mighty men—every mighty man of valor.

2Царь Давид встал и сказал: «Послушайте меня, мои братья и мой народ! У меня на сердце было построить дом покоя для ковчега завета Господа, в подножие ногам нашего Бога. Всё необходимое для строительства я приготовил.Then King David rose to his feet and said, “Listen to me, my brothers and my people. It was in my heart to build a house as a resting place for the ark of the covenant of the LORD and as a footstool for our God. I had made preparations to build it,

3Но Бог сказал мне: "Не строй Мне дом, потому что ты воин и проливал кровь".but God said to me, ‘You are not to build a house for My Name, because you are a man of war who has shed blood.’

4Однако Господь, Бог Израиля, избрал меня из всего дома моего отца, чтобы быть мне вечно царём над Израилем, так как Он избрал правителем Иуду, а в доме Иуды— дом моего отца, а из сыновей моего отца пожелал сделать меня царём над всем Израилем.Yet the LORD, the God of Israel, chose me out of all my father’s house to be king over Israel forever. For He chose Judah as leader, and from the house of Judah He chose my father’s household, and from my father’s sons He was pleased to make me king over all Israel.

5Из всех же моих сыновей, а сыновей Господь дал мне много, Он избрал Соломона, чтобы сидеть на престоле царства Господа над Израилем.And of all my sons—for the LORD has given me many sons—He has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.

6Бог сказал мне: "Твой сын, Соломон, построит Мой дом и дворы, потому что Я выбрал его Себе в сыновья, и Я буду ему Отцом.And He said to me, ‘Solomon your son is the one who will build My house and My courts, for I have chosen him as My son, and I will be his Father.

7И навсегда утвержу Его царство, если он будет твёрд в исполнении Моих заповедей и уставов, как и до этого дня".I will establish his kingdom forever, if he resolutely carries out My commandments and ordinances, as is being done this day.’

8Теперь перед всем Израилем, собранием Господа говорю нашему Богу: "Соблюдайте и исполняйте все заповеди Господа, вашего Бога, чтобы вы могли владеть этой доброй землёй и оставить её после себя в наследство своим детям навсегда.So now in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the LORD, and in the hearing of our God, keep and seek out all the commandments of the LORD your God, so that you may possess this good land and leave it as an inheritance to your descendants forever.

9И ты, Соломон, мой сын, знай Бога твоего отца, служи Ему от всего сердца и от всей души, так как Господь испытывает все сердца и знает все мысли. Если будешь искать Его, то найдёшь, а если оставишь Его, Он навсегда оставит тебя.As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him wholeheartedly and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands the intent of every thought. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

10Смотри, ведь Господь избрал тебя, чтобы построить дом для святилища, будь же твёрд и действуй".Consider now that the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong and do it.”

11Давид отдал своему сыну Соломону чертёж притвора и его домов, кладовых, верхних комнат, внутренних комнат и дома для ковчега,Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the portico of the temple, its buildings, storehouses, upper rooms, inner rooms, and the room for the mercy seat.

12и чертёж всего, что было у него на душе, дворов дома Господа и всех комнат вокруг, сокровищниц дома Бога и сокровищниц посвящённых вещей,The plans contained everything David had in mind for the courts of the house of the LORD, for all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of the house of God and of the dedicated things,

13отделений священников и левитов, любого служебного дела и для всех служебных сосудов дома Господа,for the divisions of the priests and Levites, for all the work of service in the house of the LORD, and for all the articles of service in the house of the LORD:

14всех золотых и серебряных вещей с обозначением веса, для любого из служебных сосудов.the weight of all the gold articles for every kind of service; the weight of all the silver articles for every kind of service;

15Дал также золото и серебро для светильников и ламп, с обозначением веса каждого из светильников и его ламп, в зависимости от служебного назначения каждого светильника,the weight of the gold lampstands and their lamps, including the weight of each lampstand and its lamps; the weight of each silver lampstand and its lamps, according to the use of each lampstand;

16а также золото и серебро для столов предложения хлебов, для каждого золотого и серебряного стола,the weight of gold for each table of showbread, and of silver for the silver tables;

17вилок, чаш и кувшинов из чистого золота, золотых и серебряных блюд, с обозначением веса каждого блюда,the weight of the pure gold for the forks, sprinkling bowls, and pitchers; the weight of each gold dish; the weight of each silver bowl;

18и для жертвенника курения из литого золота с обозначением веса, и для отделки колесницы с золотыми херувимами, распростирающими крыльями и покрывающими ковчег завета Господа.the weight of the refined gold for the altar of incense; and the plans for the chariot of the gold cherubim that spread their wings and overshadowed the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

19Давид сказал: «Всё это я записал от Господа, как Он дал мне понимание в строительстве».“All this,” said David, “all the details of this plan, the LORD has made clear to me in writing by His hand upon me.”

20Давид сказал своему сыну Соломону: «Будь твёрд и мужествен. Приступая к делу, не бойся и не ужасайся, мой Господь Бог с тобой. Он не отступит от тебя и не оставит тебя, пока не совершишь всё то, что требуется для дома Господа.David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you before all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.

21Вот отделы священников и левитов для любой службы при доме Бога. И у тебя есть усердные и искусные люди для разной работы. Начальники и весь народ готовы ко всем твоим указаниям».The divisions of the priests and Levites are ready for all the service of the house of God, and every willing man of every skill will be at your disposal for the work. The officials and all the people are fully at your command.”
