1. 1ROBТак же и вы, жёны, подчиняйтесь своим мужьям, чтобы те, кто не покоряется Слову, были приобретены без слова поведением своих жён,BSBBSB: Wives, in the same way, submit yourselves to your husbands, so that even if they refuse to believe the word, they will be won over without words by the behavior of their wives
2. 2ROBвидя вашу чистую богобоязненную жизнь.BSBBSB: when they see your pure and reverent demeanor.
3. 3ROBПусть вашей красотой будет не плетение волос, не золотые украшения или нарядная одежда,BSBBSB: Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair or gold jewelry or fine clothes,

6. 6ROBКак Сарра подчинялась Аврааму, называя его господином. Вы— её дети, если делаете добро и не поддаётесь никакому страху.BSBBSB: just as Sarah obeyed Abraham and called him lord. And you are her children if you do what is right and refuse to give way to fear.
7. 7ROBТакже и вы, мужья, благоразумно обращайтесь с жёнами, как с самыми хрупкими сосудами, оказывая им честь, как сонаследницам благодатной жизни, чтобы вам не было препятствий в молитвах.BSBBSB: Husbands, in the same way, treat your wives with consideration as a delicate vessel, and with honor as fellow heirs of the gracious gift of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
8. 8ROBНаконец, будьте все единомысленны, сострадательными, братолюбивыми, милосердными, дружелюбными, смиренными.BSBBSB: Finally, all of you, be like-minded and sympathetic, love as brothers, be tenderhearted and humble.
9. 9ROBНе отвечайте злом на зло или ругательством на ругательство. 13. 13ROBИ кто сделает вам зло, если вы будете ревностными к добру?BSBBSB: Who can harm you if you are zealous for what is good?
14. 14ROBНо если вы страдаете за праведность, то вы счастливы. Не бойтесь их угроз и не поддавайтесь страху.BSBBSB: But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear; do not be shaken.”
15. 15ROBГоспода Христа свято почитайте в ваших сердцах. Всегда будьте готовы дать ответ с кротостью и трепетом каждому, кто требует у вас отчёт о том, в чём ваша надежда.BSBBSB: But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you. But respond with gentleness and respect,
16. 16ROBИмейте добрую совесть, чтобы были опозорены те, кто оговаривает вас, оскорбляя ваше доброе поведение во Христе,BSBBSB: keeping a clear conscience, so that those who slander you may be put to shame by your good behavior in Christ.
17. 17ROBпотому что, если угодно Божьей воле, лучше пострадать за добрые дела, чем за злые.BSBBSB: For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
18. 18ROBПотому что и Христос однажды пострадал за наши грехи, чтобы привести нас к Богу. Праведник за неправедных был умерщвлён телом, но ожил духом,BSBBSB: For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit,
