2 ROB Он поставил войско во все укреплённые города Иудеи и расставил охранное войско по иудейской земле, по городам Ефрема, которыми завладел его отец Аса. BSB BSB: He stationed troops in every fortified city of Judah and put garrisons in the land of Judah and in the cities of Ephraim that his father Asa had captured.
3 ROB Господь был с Иосафатом, потому что он ходил прежними путями своего отца Давида и не искал Ваалов, BSB BSB: Now the LORD was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the earlier ways of his father David. He did not seek the Baals,
4 ROB но нашёл Бога своего отца и поступал по Его заповедям, а не по делам израильтян. BSB BSB: but he sought the God of his father and walked by His commandments rather than the practices of Israel.
5 ROB Господь укрепил царство в его руках. Все иудеи давали дары Иосафату, и у него было много богатства и славы. BSB BSB: So the LORD established the kingdom in his hand, and all Judah brought him tribute, so that he had an abundance of riches and honor.
6 ROB Его сердце ободрилось на путях Господа, а высоты и дубравы в Иудее он отменил. BSB BSB: And his heart took delight in the ways of the LORD; furthermore, he removed the high places and Asherah poles from Judah.
7 ROB В третий год своего царствования он послал своих правителей Бенхаила, Овадию, Захарию, Нафанаила и Михея, чтобы они учили народ в городах Иуды, BSB BSB: In the third year of his reign, Jehoshaphat sent his officials Ben-hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel, and Micaiah to teach in the cities of Judah,
8 ROB и с ними левитов Шемаию, Нефанию, Зевадию, Азаила, Шемирамофа, Ионафана, Адонию, Товию, Тов-Адонию, а также с ними священников Елишаму и Иорама. BSB BSB: accompanied by certain Levites—Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah, and Tob-adonijah—along with the priests Elishama and Jehoram.
9 ROB Они учили в Иудее, имея с собой книгу закона Господа. Они обходили все города Иудеи и учили народ. BSB BSB: They taught throughout Judah, taking with them the Book of the Law of the LORD. They went throughout the towns of Judah and taught the people.
10 ROB Страх Господа был на всех царствах земель вокруг Иудеи, и с Иосафатом не воевали. BSB BSB: And the dread of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that surrounded Judah, so that they did not make war against Jehoshaphat.
11 ROB Филистимляне приносили Иосафату в дань дары и серебро. Аравитяне тоже пригоняли к нему мелкий скот: семь тысяч семьсот баранов и семь тысяч семьсот козлов. BSB BSB: Some Philistines also brought gifts and silver as tribute to Jehoshaphat, and the Arabs brought him 7,700 rams and 7,700 goats from their flocks.
12 ROB Иосафат всё больше и больше возвышался. Он построил в Иудее крепости и города для запасов. BSB BSB: Jehoshaphat grew stronger and stronger, and he built fortresses and store cities in Judah
13 ROB у него было много запасов в иудейских городах, а в Иерусалиме— военных и храбрых людей. BSB BSB: and kept vast supplies in the cities of Judah. He also had warriors in Jerusalem who were mighty men of valor.
14 ROB Вот список по их поколениям. У Иуды начальники над тысячами воинов был начальник Адна, и у него триста тысяч отличных воинов, BSB BSB: These are their numbers according to the houses of their fathers: From Judah, the commanders of thousands: Adnah the commander, and with him 300,000 mighty men of valor;
15 ROB за ним начальник Иоханан, и у него двести восемьдесят тысяч, BSB BSB: next to him, Jehohanan the commander, and with him 280,000;
16 ROB за ним Амасия, сын Зихри, посвятивший себя Господу, и у него двести тысяч отличных воинов. BSB BSB: and next to him, Amasiah son of Zichri, the volunteer for the LORD, and with him 200,000 mighty men of valor.
17 ROB У Вениамина отличный воин Елиада, и у него двести тысяч вооружённых луками и щитами, BSB BSB: From Benjamin: Eliada, a mighty man of valor, and with him 200,000 armed with bows and shields;
18 ROB за ним Иегозавад, и у него сто восемьдесят тысяч вооружённых воинов. BSB BSB: and next to him, Jehozabad, and with him 180,000 armed for battle.
19 ROB Вот служившие царю сверх тех, которых царь расставил в укреплённых городах по всей Иудее. BSB BSB: These were the men who served the king, besides those he stationed in the fortified cities throughout Judah.
