1. 1ROBИоафаму было двадцать пять лет, когда он стал царём. Он царствовал в Иерусалиме шестнадцать лет. Имя его матери— Иеруша, она была дочерью Садока.BSBBSB: Jotham was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. His mother’s name was Jerushah daughter of Zadok.
2. 2ROBОн делал угодное в глазах Господа так, как делал его отец Озия, только не входил в храм Господа, и народ ещё продолжал грешить.BSBBSB: And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father Uzziah had done. In addition, he did not enter the temple of the LORD. But the people still behaved corruptly.
3. 3ROBОн построил верхние ворота дома Господа и многое построил на стене Офела.BSBBSB: Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate of the house of the LORD, and he worked extensively on the wall at the hill of Ophel.
4. 4ROBНа иудейской горе он построил города и в лесах построил дворцы и башни.BSBBSB: He also built cities in the hill country of Judah and fortresses and towers in the forests.
5. 5ROBОн воевал с царём аммонитян, одолел их, и они в тот год отдали ему сто талантов серебра, десять тысяч мер пшеницы и десять тысяч ячменя. Это же аммонитяне отдавали ему и на следующий год, и на третий.BSBBSB: Jotham waged war against the king of the Ammonites and defeated them, and that year they gave him a hundred talents of silver, ten thousand cors of wheat, and ten thousand cors of barley. They paid him the same in the second and third years.
6. 6ROBИоафам был так силён, потому что устраивал свои пути перед лицом Господа, своего Бога.BSBBSB: So Jotham grew powerful because he ordered his ways before the LORD his God.
7. 7ROBОстальные дела Иоафама, все его войны и его пути описаны в книге израильских и иудейских царей.BSBBSB: As for the rest of the acts of Jotham, along with all his wars and his ways, they are indeed written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah.
8. 8ROBЕму было двадцать пять лет, когда он стал царём. Он царствовал в Иерусалиме шестнадцать лет.BSBBSB: He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years.
9. 9ROBИоафам упокоился со своими отцами, и его похоронили в городе Давида. Вместо него царём стал его сын Ахаз.BSBBSB: And Jotham rested with his fathers and was buried in the City of David. And his son Ahaz reigned in his place.
