2 Corinthians 4 (ROB)

1Поэтому, имея по милости Бога такое служение, мы не унываем,Therefore, since God in His mercy has given us this ministry, we do not lose heart.

2но отвергаем тайные, постыдные дела, не прибегаем к хитрости и не искажаем Слова Бога, а открываем истину и предоставляем себя совести любого человека перед Богом.Instead, we have renounced secret and shameful ways. We do not practice deceit, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by open proclamation of the truth, we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

3Если и закрыта Радостная Весть, то закрыта для погибающих,And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.

4для неверующих, у которых бог этого века ослепил умы, чтобы для них не засиял свет Радостной Вести о славе Христа, Который есть образ невидимого Бога.The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

5Потому что мы не себя проповедуем, но Иисуса Христа, Господа, а мы— ваши рабы для Иисуса.For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

6Потому что Бог, Который повелел из тьмы засиять свету, осветил наши сердца, чтобы просветить нас познанием славы Бога в лице Иисуса Христа.For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7Но это сокровище мы носим в глиняных сосудах, чтобы превосходная сила принадлежала Богу, а не нам.Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great power is from God and not from us.

8Мы отовсюду притесняемы, но не стеснены; мы в отчаянных обстоятельствах, но не отчаиваемся;We are hard pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;

9мы гонимы, но не оставлены; повержены, но не погибаем.persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

10В нашем теле мы всегда носим смерть Господа Иисуса, чтобы и жизнь Иисуса открылась в нашем теле.We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

11Мы, живые, постоянно предаёмся на смерть ради Иисуса, чтобы и жизнь Иисуса открылась в нашем смертном теле,For we who are alive are always consigned to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal body.

12так что смерть действует в нас, а жизнь— в вас.So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.

13Но мы имеем тот же дух веры, как написано: «Я верил и потому говорил», и мы верим, потому и говорим.And in keeping with what is written, “I believed, therefore I have spoken,” we who have the same spirit of faith also believe and therefore speak,

14Знаем, что Тот, Кто Воскресил Господа Иисуса, воскресит через Иисуса и нас с вами и поставит перед Собой.knowing that the One who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in His presence.

15Потому что всё для вас, чтобы обилие благодати произвело во многих ещё больше благодарности в славу Бога.All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is extending to more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow, to the glory of God.

16Поэтому мы не унываем; но если внешний наш человек и разрушается, то внутренний каждый день обновляется.Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day.

17Потому что наше временное и лёгкое страдание приносит нам великую вечную славу,For our light and momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory that is far beyond comparison.

18когда мы смотрим не на видимое, но на невидимое: так как видимое‒ временно, а невидимое‒ вечно.So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
