2 Corinthians 8 (ROB)

1Братья, сообщаем вам о Божьей благодати, которая дана македонским церквям,Now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the churches of Macedonia.

2потому что они среди великого испытания скорбями переполнены радостью и их глубокая нищета переполнена безграничным богатством их щедрости.In the terrible ordeal they suffered, their abundant joy and deep poverty overflowed into rich generosity.

3Потому что они добровольно жертвовали по силам и сверх сил— я свидетель этому.For I testify that they gave according to their ability and even beyond it. Of their own accord,

4Они очень убедительно просили нас принять дар и их участие в служении святым людям,they earnestly pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints.

5и не только то, на что мы надеялись, но они отдали самих себя, во-первых, Господу, потом и нам по воле Бога.And not only did they do as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us, through the will of God.

6Поэтому мы просили Тита, чтобы он как начал, так и окончил у вас и это доброе дело.So we urged Titus to help complete your act of grace, just as he had started it.

7А так как у вас избыток всего: веры, и слова, и познания, и любого усердия, и вашей любви к нам, то обогащайтесь и в этом деле милосердия.But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness, and in the love we inspired in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

8Говорю это не в виде приказания, но через заботу других испытываю искренность и вашей любви.I am not giving a command, but I am testing the sincerity of your love through the earnestness of others.

9Вы ведь знаете благодать нашего Господа Иисуса Христа, что Он был богат, но стал нищим ради вас, чтобы вы обогатились Его нищетой.For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.

10Я советую вам поступить так, потому что это полезно вам, которые не только начали это делать, но и желали этого ещё с прошлого года.And this is my opinion about what is helpful for you in this matter: Last year you were the first not only to give, but even to have such a desire.

11А теперь выполните это дело, чтобы то, чего усердно желали, было исполнено по достатку.Now finish the work, so that you may complete it with the same eager desire, according to your means.

12Так как если есть усердие, то оно принимается смотря по тому, у кого что есть, а не по тому, чего нет.For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have.

13Не требуется, чтобы другим было облегчение, а вам тяжесть, но чтобы была равномерность.It is not our intention that others may be relieved while you are burdened, but that there may be equality.

14Сейчас ваш излишек в восполнение их недостатка. А после их излишек в восполнение вашего недостатка, чтобы была равномерность,At the present time, your surplus will meet their need, so that in turn their surplus will meet your need. This way there will be equality.

15как написано: «Кто собрал много, не имел лишнего. И кто собрал мало, не имел недостатка».As it is written: “He who gathered much had no excess, and he who gathered little had no shortfall.”

16Благодарю Бога, Который положил на сердце Тита ту же заботу о вас.But thanks be to God, who put into the heart of Titus the same devotion I have for you.

17Потому что хотя я его и просил, но он проявил усердие и пошёл к вам добровольно.For not only did he welcome our appeal, but he is eagerly coming to you of his own volition.

18С ним послали мы также брата, которого во всех церквях одобряют за распространение Радостной Вести.Along with Titus we are sending the brother who is praised by all the churches for his work in the gospel.

19И вдобавок к этому церкви выбрали его сопровождать нас в этом деле милосердия, которым мы служим во славу Самого Господа и в соответствии с вашим усердием.More than that, this brother was chosen by the churches to accompany us with the gracious offering we administer to honor the Lord Himself and to show our eagerness to help.

20Мы опасаемся того, чтобы при таком множестве приношений, которые доверяют нашему служению, нас кто-либо не упрекнул.We want to avoid any criticism of the way we administer this generous gift.

21Потому что мы стараемся заботиться о добром не только перед Господом, но и перед людьми.For we are taking great care to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord, but also in the eyes of men.

22С ними мы послали и нашего брата. Его усердие мы много раз испытали во многих делах, и теперь он будет ещё усерднее, потому что ещё больше уверен в вас.And we are sending along with them our brother who has proven his earnestness to us many times and in many ways, and now even more so by his great confidence in you.

23Что касается Тита, то это мой соучастник и сотрудник у вас. А что касается наших братьев— это посланники церквей, слава Христа.As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker among you. As for our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

24Итак, перед лицом церквей докажите им вашу любовь и то, что мы справедливо вами хвалимся.In full view of the churches, then, show these men the proof of your love and the reason for our boasting about you.
