1. 1ROBПосле этого Давид победил филистимлян, покорил их и взял Мефег-Гаамму из рук филистимлян.BSBBSB: Some time later, David defeated the Philistines, subdued them, and took Metheg-ammah from the hand of the Philistines.
2. 2ROBОн победил моавитян и измерил их верёвкой, положив на землю. Отмерил двумя верёвками, кого убить, а одной верёвкой, кого оставить в живых. И моавитяне стали рабами Давида, платящими дань.BSBBSB: David also defeated the Moabites, made them lie down on the ground, and measured them off with a cord. He measured off with two lengths those to be put to death, and with one length those to be spared. So the Moabites became subject to David and brought him tribute.
3. 3ROBДавид победил сувского царя Адраазара, сына Рехова, когда тот шёл, чтобы восстановить своё владычество у реки Евфрат.BSBBSB: David also defeated Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah, who had marched out to restore his dominion along the Euphrates River.

5. 5ROBДамасские сирийцы пришли на помощь сувскому царю Адраазару, но Давид победил двадцать две тысячи сирийцев.BSBBSB: When the Arameans of Damascus came to help King Hadadezer of Zobah, David struck down twenty-two thousand of their men.
6. 6ROBДавид поставил охранные войска в дамасской Сирии, и сирийцы стали у Давида рабами, платящими дань. Господь хранил Давида везде, куда бы он ни ходил.BSBBSB: Then he placed garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and the Arameans became subject to David and brought him tribute. So the LORD made David victorious wherever he went.
7. 7ROBДавид взял золотые щиты, которые были у рабов Адраазара, и принёс их в Иерусалим.BSBBSB: And David took the gold shields that belonged to the officers of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem.
8. 8ROBА в городах Адраазара Бефе и Берофе царь Давид взял очень много меди.BSBBSB: And from Betah and Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, King David took a large amount of bronze.
9. 9ROBФой, царь Имафа, услышал, что Давид победил всё войско Адраазара,BSBBSB: When King Toi of Hamath heard that David had defeated the entire army of Hadadezer,
10. 10ROBи послал Фой своего сына Иорама к царю Давиду поприветствовать его и поблагодарить за то, что он воевал с Адраазаром и победил его, так как Адраазар вёл войны с Фоем. В руках Иорама были серебряные, золотые и медные сосуды.BSBBSB: he sent his son Joram to greet King David and bless him for fighting and defeating Hadadezer, who had been at war with Toi. Joram brought with him articles of silver and gold and bronze,
11. 11ROBИх царь Давид тоже посвятил Господу— вместе с посвящённым серебром и золотом, которое он посвятил из отнятого у всех покорённых им народов:BSBBSB: and King David dedicated these to the LORD, along with the silver and gold he had dedicated from all the nations he had subdued—
12. 12ROBу сирийцев, моавитян, аммонитян, филистимлян, амаликитян, и из отнятого у сувского царя Адраазара, сына Рехова.BSBBSB: from Edom and Moab, from the Ammonites and Philistines and Amalekites, and from the spoil of Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah.
13. 13ROBДавид сделал себе имя, возвращаясь после поражения им восемнадцати тысяч сирийцев в Солёной долине.BSBBSB: And David made a name for himself when he returned from striking down eighteen thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.
14. 14ROBОн поставил охранные войска в Идумее. По всей Идумее были поставлены охранные войска, и все идумеяне были рабами Давида. Господь хранил Давида везде, куда бы он ни ходил.BSBBSB: He placed garrisons throughout Edom, and all the Edomites were subject to David. So the LORD made David victorious wherever he went.
15. 15ROBДавид царствовал над всем Израилем и поступал справедливо и праведно со всем своим народом.BSBBSB: Thus David reigned over all Israel and administered justice and righteousness for all his people:
16. 16ROBА Иоав, сын Саруи, был начальником войска. Иосафат, сын Ахилуда, был летописцем.BSBBSB: Joab son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was the recorder;
17. 17ROBСадок, сын Ахитува, и Ахимелех, сын Авиафара, были священниками, Сераия был писарем.BSBBSB: Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelech son of Abiathar were priests; Seraiah was the scribe;
18. 18ROBВанея, сын Иодая, был начальником над хелефеями и фелефеями, а сыновья Давида были первыми при дворе.BSBBSB: Benaiah son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and Pelethites; and David’s sons were priestly leaders.
