1В день Пятидесятницы они все были единодушно вместе.When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

2Внезапно раздался шум с неба, словно подул сильный ветер. Шум наполнил весь дом, где они находились.Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3Языки, которые были разделены и были словно огненные, явились апостолам и остановились по одному на каждом из них.They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

4Все наполнились Святым Духом и начали говорить на других языках то, что Дух давал им говорить.And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

5В Иерусалиме находились иудеи, люди набожные, из каждого народа под небесами.Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.

6Когда раздался этот шум, собрался народ и пришёл в замешательство, потому что каждый слышал, как апостолы говорили на его языке.And when this sound rang out, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking his own language.

7Они изумлялись и удивлялись, и говорили между собой:«Разве эти люди, которые говорят, не Галилеяне?Astounded and amazed, they asked, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans?

8Почему мы слышим каждый свой язык, который знаем с рождения?How is it then that each of us hears them in his own native language?

9Парфяне, мидяне, еламиты, жители Месопотамии, Иудеи, Кападокии, Понта и Асии,Parthians, Medes, and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

10Фригии и Памфилии, Египта и частей Ливии возле Киринеи, и те, кто пришёл из Рима,Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome,

11иудеи и прозелиты, критяне и аравитяне– мы все слышим, как они говорят на наших языках о великих Божьих делах».both Jews and converts to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”

12Все удивлялись и в растерянности говорили друг другу:«Что это значит?»Astounded and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13А другие с насмешкой говорили:«Они напились сладкого вина».But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!”

14Пётр же встал с одиннадцатью и громко сказал им:«Мужчины Иудеи и все, кто живёт в Иерусалиме! Прислушайтесь к моим словам и знайте,Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words.

15что они не пьяны, как вы думаете, потому что сейчас третий час дня.These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day!

16Но это предсказано пророком Иоилем:No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17" И будет в последние дни,— говорит Бог,— изолью от Моего Духа на каждого человека. Тогда ваши сыновья и ваши дочери будут пророчествовать, ваши юноши будут видеть видения и вашим старцам будут сниться сны.‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

18В те дни изолью от Моего Духа на Моих рабов и на Моих рабынь– и они будут пророчествовать.Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

19Я покажу чудеса вверху на небе и знаки внизу на земле: и кровь, и огонь, и клубы дыма.I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

20Солнце превратится в тьму, и луна— в кровь, прежде чем наступит великий и славный день Господа.The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.

21И будет: каждый, кто призовёт имя Господа, будет спасён".And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

22Мужчины Израиля! Выслушайте эти слова: Иисуса из Назарета, Человека, о Котором свидельствовал вам Бог силами, чудесами и знаками, которые Бог сделал через Него среди вас, как вы и сами знаете,Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know.

23Его по определённому решению и замыслу Бога предали, а вы Его пригвоздили руками беззаконных и убили.He was delivered up by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, and you, by the hands of the lawless, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross.

24Но Бог воскресил Его, разорвав цепи смерти, потому что ей невозможно было Его удержать.But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep Him in its grip.

25Поэтому Давид говорит о Нём:" Я всегда видел перед собой Господа, потому что Он с правой стороны от меня, чтобы я не пошатнулся.David says about Him: ‘I saw the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

26От того моё сердце радуется, мой язык веселится, и даже моё тело найдёт покой в надежде,Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell in hope,

27что Ты не оставишь мою душу в аду и не дашь Твоему святому увидеть тление.because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay.

28Ты дал мне познать путь жизни. Ты наполнишь меня радостью перед Твоим лицом".You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’

29Братья! Разрешите мне смело сказать вам о нашем праотце Давиде: он умер, похоронен, и его гробница у нас до сегодняшнего дня.Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

30Он был пророком и знал, что Бог с клятвою обещал ему, что Он поставит Христа в теле как одного из его потомков и посадит на его престоле.But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that He would place one of his descendants on his throne.

31Прежде он сказал о воскресении Христа, что не оставлена душа Его в аду и Его тело не видело тления.Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay.

32Бог воскресил этого Иисуса, чему мы все свидетели.God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses.

33Итак, Он был вознесён рукой Бога, принял от Отца обещание Святого Духа, излил то, что вы сейчас видите и слышите.Exalted, then, to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

34Ведь Давид не вознёсся на небеса, но он сам сказал:" Господь сказал моему Господину:" Сиди с правой стороны от Меня,For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand

35пока не положу Твоих врагов к Твоим ногам".until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’

36Итак, твёрдо знай, весь дом Израиля, что Бог сделал Господом и Христом Этого Иисуса, Которого вы распяли».Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!”

37Когда они услышали это, их сердца были сокрушены. Они сказали Петру и другим апостолам:«Что нам делать, братья?»When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

38Пётр ответил им:«Покайтесь, и пусть каждый из вас крестится во имя Иисуса Христа для прощения грехов, и вы получите дар Святого Духа.Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39Потому что обещание принадлежит вам и вашим детям, и всем дальним, кого призовёт наш Господь Бог».This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off—to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.”

40И многими другими словами он свидетельствовал и убеждал их:«Спасайтесь от этого развращённого поколения».With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.”

41Итак, те, кто охотно принял его слова, крестились. В тот день присоединилось около трёх тысяч человек.Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.

42Они постоянно находились в учении апостолов, в общении, преломлении хлеба и в молитвах.They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

43Был страх в каждой душе, и много чудес и знаков сделали апостолы в Иерусалиме.A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.

44Все верующие были вместе и всё у них было общее.All the believers were together and had everything in common.

45Они продавали собственность и имущество, разделяя всем, смотря на нужды каждого.Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.

46Каждый день они единодушно находились в храме, преломляли хлеб по домам, принимали пищу в радости и простоте сердца,With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart,

47славили Бога и находились в любви у всего народа. И Господь ежедневно прибавлял спасаемых к Церкви.praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
