Ezekiel 17 (ROB)

1И было ко мне слово Господа:Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2"Сын человеческий! Предложи загадку и расскажи притчу народу Израиля.“Son of man, pose a riddle; speak a parable to the house of Israel

3Скажи: "Так говорит Господь Бог: "Большой орёл с большими крыльями, с длинными перьями, пушистый, пёстрый, прилетел на Ливан и снял с кедра верхушку,and tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘A great eagle with great wings and long pinions, full of feathers of many colors, came to Lebanon and took away the top of the cedar.

4сорвал верх из его молодых побегов, принёс в землю Ханаан и положил его в городе торговцев,He plucked off its topmost shoot, carried it to the land of merchants, and planted it in a city of traders.

5взял семя этой земли и посадил на плодородном поле, и поместил у больших вод, как сажают иву.He took some of the seed of the land and planted it in fertile soil; he placed it by abundant waters and set it out like a willow.

6Оно выросло и стало виноградной лозой— широкой, низкой ростом, ветви которой клонились к ней. Её корни были под ней. Оно стало виноградной лозой, дало отростки и пустило побеги.It sprouted and became a spreading vine, low in height, with branches turned toward him; yet its roots remained where it stood. So it became a vine and yielded branches and sent out shoots.

7Был ещё и другой орёл с большими крыльями, пушистый. Эта виноградная лоза потянулась к нему своими корнями и протянула к нему свои ветви, чтобы он поливал её с грядок своего рассадника.But there was another great eagle with great wings and many feathers. And behold, this vine bent its roots toward him. It stretched out its branches to him from its planting bed, so that he might water it.

8Она была посажена на хорошем поле, около большой воды, так что могла пускать ветви, приносить плод и стать великолепной лозой".It had been planted in good soil by abundant waters in order to yield branches and bear fruit and become a splendid vine.’

9Скажи: "Так говорит Господь Бог: "Будет ли она успешна? Не вырвут ли её корней, не оборвут ли её плодов, так что она засохнет?" Все молодые ветви, выросшие на ней, засохнут. Не с большой силой, не со множеством людей вырвут её от корней.So you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Will it flourish? Will it not be uprooted and stripped of its fruit so that it shrivels? All its foliage will wither! It will not take a strong arm or many people to pull it up by its roots.

10Хотя она и посажена, но будет ли она успешна? Не высохнет ли она, когда её коснётся восточный ветер? Засохнет на грядках, где она выросла".Even if it is transplanted, will it flourish? Will it not completely wither when the east wind strikes? It will wither on the bed where it sprouted.’”

11И было ко мне слово Господа:Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

12"Скажи мятежному дому: "Разве не знаете, что это значит? Скажи: "Вавилонский царь пришёл в Иерусалим, взял его царя и правителей и привёл их к себе в Вавилон.“Now say to this rebellious house: ‘Do you not know what these things mean?’ Tell them, ‘Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, carried off its king and officials, and brought them back with him to Babylon.

13Взял другого из царского рода, заключил с ним союз и взял с него клятву. Также забрал с собой воинов той земли,He took a member of the royal family and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath. Then he carried away the leading men of the land,

14чтобы царство было покорным, чтобы оно не могло подняться, чтобы союз сохранялся и стоял твёрдо.so that the kingdom would be brought low, unable to lift itself up, surviving only by keeping his covenant.

15Но тот восстал против него, отправив своих послов в Египет, чтобы ему дали коней и много людей. Будет ли он успешен? Уцелеет ли тот, кто это делает? Разве он уцелеет, нарушив союз?But this king rebelled against Babylon by sending his envoys to Egypt to ask for horses and a large army. Will he flourish? Will the one who does such things escape? Can he break a covenant and yet escape?’

16Жив Я,— говорит Господь Бог,— там, где находится тот царь, который поставил его царём, перед которым он пренебрёг клятвой, нарушил свой союз с ним,— там у него в Вавилоне он и умрёт.‘As surely as I live,’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘he will die in Babylon, in the land of the king who enthroned him, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke.

17Фараон с огромной силой и с многочисленным народом в этой войне ничего не сделает для него, когда будет насыпан вал и будут построены осадные башни, чтобы уничтожить много жизней.Pharaoh with his mighty army and vast horde will not help him in battle, when ramps are built and siege walls constructed to destroy many lives.

18Он пренебрёг клятвой, чтобы нарушить союз, дал свою руку и сделал всё это. Он не уцелеет".He despised the oath by breaking the covenant. Seeing that he gave his hand in pledge yet did all these things, he will not escape!’

19Поэтому так говорит Господь Бог: "Жив Я! Мою клятву, которой он пренебрёг, и Мой союз, который он нарушил, Я обрушу на его голову.Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘As surely as I live, I will bring down upon his head My oath that he despised and My covenant that he broke.

20Я закину на него Мою сеть, и он будет пойман в Мою ловушку. Я приведу его в Вавилон и там буду с ним судиться за его неверность Мне.I will spread My net over him and catch him in My snare. I will bring him to Babylon and execute judgment upon him there for the treason he committed against Me.

21Все его беглецы из всех его полков погибнут от меча, а оставшиеся будут развеяны по всем ветрам. Тогда и узнаете, что Я— Господь, сказал это".All his choice troops will fall by the sword, and those who survive will be scattered to every wind. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken.’

22Так говорит Господь Бог: "Я возьму верхушку высокого кедра и посажу. С его верхних побегов оторву нежный отросток и посажу на высокой, величественной горе.This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take a shoot from the lofty top of the cedar, and I will set it out. I will pluck a tender sprig from its topmost shoots, and I will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.

23Посажу его на высокой горе Израиля. Он пустит ветви, принесёт плод, станет величественным кедром. Под ним будут обитать разные птицы, и разные пернатые будут обитать в тени его ветвей.I will plant it on the mountain heights of Israel so that it will bear branches; it will yield fruit and become a majestic cedar. Birds of every kind will nest under it, taking shelter in the shade of its branches.

24Тогда все полевые деревья узнают, что Я— Господь, высокое дерево понижаю, низкое дерево повышаю, зеленеющее дерево высушиваю, а сухое дерево делаю цветущим. Я, Господь, сказал и сделаю".Then all the trees of the field will know that I am the LORD. I bring the tall tree down and make the low tree tall. I dry up the green tree and make the withered tree flourish. I, the LORD, have spoken, and I have done it.’”
